I asked the following question in another thread and decided it would be a great trivia question.

Anyone want to guess where the line "High Toned Son of a Bitch" came from?

So does anyone know where the line came from?

Here are a few hints...

-Oldsmobile

-Black

-Book

-Book became movie

Good luck!

The Stephen King book "Needful Things?" I know there was a black Toronado in there and thats the only Stephen King movie that has as Oldsmobile in it as far as I know.

You are so close!

The last three hints...

1. Thad Beaumont, George Stark

2. Machine's Way

3. Timothy Hutton

That's a dead giveaway.

TMP gets it. 8)

Joe, you got it half-right, so you get credit where credit is due. :)

As for From A Buick 8, yes I have read it. It's a pretty good book, too. If anyone is interested, it's in the pre-production stages of becoming a movie. The same guy who directed The Dark Half is directing it, too.
