FRANKFURT -- Three Chinese automakers will show vehicles at the Frankfurt auto show next month.

1. Landwind Europe will display the Opel Frontera-based SUV that went on sale last month in the Netherlands. The Landwind SUV will go on sale in Germany during the show, which is Sept. 15-25.

Landwind will start exporting its CV9 minivan next year, but that model will not be at the show.

Both vehicles are produced in China by Ford Motor Co. partner Jiangling Motors Corp.

2. Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd., one of China's so-called young tigers, is showing five models - the Free Cruiser small sedan, FC lower-medium sedan, M303H hatchback, Haoqing lower-medium hatchback and CD (China Dragon) sports car.

3. Euro Motors will exhibit the Zhonghua large sedan, which is built by BMW AG's China partner Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co.

Landwind will be the only brand at the show with its cars on sale in Europe.

But Geely has appointed Lisbon-based auto retailer Sociedade Hispanica de Automoveis to distribute its cars in Portugal and Spain.

The Chinese manufacturer is seeking partners in other European countries.
