Name that lyric!

Pretty simple, I'll post a line from a song, whoever figures it out names the song and artist, then they post their own lyrics for someone else to figure out.  You don't have to make it crazy easy, but maybe try not to make it something too obscure so people at least have a chance to figure it out.  I think that about covers it, so, to get it started:

 

There, are stars, in the southern sky, and if ever, you decide, you should go, there is a taste, of time sweetened honey, down.........

Just going to try and bump this one time before I declare it a failed experiment.  I don't think my first entry was too tough, but if people need a hint Don Henley was involved in this track (I don't think I can make it much more obvious than that).
