Inside the Shape-Shifter: Automobile Magazine Explains the Camaro

Recommended Posts

Art St. Antoine dissects the hype behind the new Camaro to explain how it's no longer vintage thrills and same-old thinking for Chevy in the ponycar segment:

"It’s hard to overstate just what a leap this 2016 Chevrolet Camaro represents. The new edition isn’t simply the latest upgrade in a long line of Camaros. It’s a shape-shifter. It feels different at its very core, as if its genes had mutated to produce an entirely new specimen, one barely recognizable as belonging to the family lineage."

Some of that in play, I guess. But it's like I was saying about the Caddy CT6 a while back: if you have a world-class foundation to start with the end result is probably versatile enough to do whatever. In this case, I'm sure it's still quite capable of doing donuts on your neighbour's lawn while the hair on the back of your head becomes suspiciously longer than it is on the front.
