"The body motions never let you forget it’s a long, large car, heaving along to its own tune. It’s more than capable of tilting heavily from side to side and bucking from fore to aft in a manner rarely seen on a modern-day four-door. But the suspension does a commendable job controlling the comfort setup, even during aggressive driving. Testing director Kim Reynolds was certainly scratching his head after having a go around the figure eight. 'It turns in quickly, doesn’t understeer too much, and is quite responsive,' he said. 'Surprising. Turn-in in particular is strangely quick and nice. Brakes feel OK, but stopping power seems pretty good, too.'"

I agree on basically all counts. It's not going to win any competitions against a FR-S (except straight line maybe), but once you learn to work with the Impala's inertia, you can actually use it to drive very spiritedly.

It's a very good looking car from the front. There is just something about that rear overhang that drives me nuts. I feel like it is 3 miles long.

The one in their review looks real sharp dressed in all black.

The car that many of my family would buy first if they wanted a new sedan and a large but sensible budget.

That's as much heaping praise I can give for a car.

My pick for a vehicle remains a different Chevy, but you all already know which one.  :rwd:
