The 2018 Hyundai Accent marks a full generational redesign, introducing the all-new 5th-generation subcompact sedan to the US market. Built on a longer wheelbase, the redesigned Accent adopts Hyundai's Cascading Grille front fascia, sharper LED-accented lighting, and a more sculpted body that raises the bar against rivals like the Toyota Yaris and Honda Fit. Under the hood, a 1.6-liter GDI four-cylinder delivers 130 horsepower and is paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the new Accent offers a significantly more refined cabin with available touchscreen infotainment, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, available in SE and SEL trim levels for the US market.

Discussion:Ultium Twins to hit the market soon from Honda / Acura
After doing a bunch of research on this, it isn't so much Honda/Acura are limiting charging speeds as it is the battery pack total size directly correlates to the rate of charge they can accept. The Prologue and non-SS Blazer EV have 85kWh batteries at 288 total volts and the ZDX/Lyriq/Blazer EV SS all have the larger 102kWh battery at 345 total volts. Because of the way the Ultium platforms have multiple pack sizes that can and are linked together to make larger or smaller packs, the total pack volts varies based on the application and why the Hummer/Silverado/Sierra EVs can charge at 800v when they're still on 400v architecture. Because kW = amps * volts, the bigger packs have more nominal volts because they have more cells. Below is a Prologue example and change the 288v for the Prologue to 345v for the larger packs of the Lyriq, ZDX, or Blazer EV SS and you get 190kW for the maximum (or do the math for the other chargers, as well) -

The Super would have the Northstar V8 and while the engine was mostly sorted out by then they are higher maintenance and are a Premium Fuel recommended car, so you have to be willing to be spending $5+ per gallon. The 3900 V6 isn’t as exciting but it’s dependable and reasonably fuel efficient for such a large car- 1

Took a look at the details in the recommended setup from PSE (Puget Sound Energy) and they say the typical house uses 20 to 40 kW over night and then having a battery pack equal too plus 10% for EV charging. PSE is recommending a 150 kW battery pack of storage so that I would not pull from the grid. Tesla FAILURE, Promise, Promise, Promise, and never deliver. What would you do?
The 2009 Buick Lucerne is an absolute SLEEPER car, but $18,000 is a bit much. A better price for one of those bad boys is about $3,500-$9,000. The super is also a MUCH better package as it has everything a cxl has, but with a 290 hp v8 -

Starter Car?
I'm 14 and looking for a good year round car to drive that still has potential to go sideways when I floor it. I'm thinking something like a 2009 Buick lucerne super that I can turn into my own little project car. Does that sound like a good starter car? If not, any suggestions?
