The all-new 2019 Volkswagen Jetta made its world debut at the 2018 Detroit Auto Show, marking a full generational redesign onto Volkswagen's flexible MQB platform. The Mk7 grows longer, wider, and more spacious than its predecessor, with a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired exclusively with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the cabin takes a notable step upmarket, with the optional Digital Cockpit fully digital instrument cluster, Beats Audio premium sound system, and customizable ambient lighting available on upper trims. The lineup spans five grades: S, SE, SEL, SEL Premium, and the sport-appearance R-Line.
