The 2012 Hyundai Accent marked a complete fourth-generation RB redesign, offering buyers a choice between a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback built on a longer, wider platform. Both body styles were powered by a 1.6L Gamma GDI four-cylinder engine producing 138 horsepower, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai's fluidic sculpture design language transformed the Accent into one of the best-looking subcompacts in its class, with a more refined interior to match.
