Porsche unveiled the fully redesigned second-generation Cayman at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, presenting a sports coupe that was lighter, stiffer, and more powerful than its predecessor. The new Cayman featured sharper styling derived from the 991-generation 911, with a lower roofline, wider front track, and more pronounced side air intakes. Press photos showcased the Cayman in striking Racing Yellow and white, with action shots on mountain roads and tunnel runs highlighting its dynamic character. Power came from a 2.7-liter flat-six producing 275 horsepower, with the optional S variant offering a 3.4-liter engine with 325 horsepower.
