Red Alert. A buddy of mine recently acquired a 1998 BMW K1200RS from facebook marketplace that didn’t run. One fuel pump later and we took it on its first shakedown cruise today for a couple hours.

I flew Southwest to Denver a few weeks ago, first time I'd been on them since 2017 when I flew back and forth from Phoenix to CLE 6 times during my move. I had a free ticket, with the Business Select so I got a 2nd row window seat. I really don't like not having assigned seating, though. Flying American in August for a work trip to DFW and I'll probably drive for a vacation in October.1 point

They never served out of Pittsburgh in any meaningful price effective way. Sure, they didn't charge for bags, but their prices where as high as American was with bags. Then I was also frequently an Gold status member with American and got domestic bags free anyway.1 point

If anyone intends to purchase an "old school" ticket on Southwest, meaning with 2 free bags, you can do so up through May 27. On May 28, they will start nickel and diming for seats, bags, etc. The curtain is falling on this airline as we knew it for so long. I will now have less incentive to use them.1 point
