Um, aside from VE, Holden gets Opel leftovers. Pontiac would not be viable copying Holden as it would essentially be the same market position as Saturn, just with Zetas, which other divisions are getting. No. The best option for Pontiac would be as a boutique brand of little sport RWD cars. Small cars, Solstice roadster, small RWD compact, RWD midsize, nothing bigger than midsized. This would keep Pontiac focused while maintaining the youth appeal they still have without overlapping.

I consider DTS a hit because: it is a better car in every way over the outgoing model. The two drive so differently, and that is in a good way. No more squishy break pedal, much better seats, etc. It will sell well to its audience.

Um...Are you forgetting THREE all-new, amazing trucks? What about the DTS? Huge improvement over the 2000 model. SRX refresh for 2007? Check. New CTS for the following year? Check. STS facelift pix? Check. The only "neglected" model would then be the XLR? It just got a new interior a year ago.

BVs grown up a lot in the past year...I know what you mean regarding the "harsh comments" but I think they might have prodded change for the better. Sometimes "tough love" is the way to go...
