  11. Welcome to the Buick forum. I hope you enjoy your time in this forum and find the information contained herein to be useful. As the moderator for this forum, I'd like to lay down a few ground rules: 1) This is Cheers and Gears, not 4chan. Threads and posts are not competing for "win," and memes will be removed unless they somehow contribute substance to the discussion. 2) Please do not post any of those repetitive .gif animations because they are obnoxious, and this is not 4chan. 3) If your post gets down-rated, please don't post to complain about it. Remember: your post was down-rated, not you. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation.
  12. No I'm not confusing anything because there was a third cause: Yup.
  13. You don't have the hardware to successfully run 7, unfortunately. My guess is if your hard disk is so full, you might be experiencing errors because of that. Have you thought of getting an external USB hard drive for your media? You'd be surprised how much space is taken up by pictures, music, movies/video, etc.
  14. Always remember with whom you are speaking and the nature of their M.O.
  15. No, that was quite a bit different, actually. The issue with the AUDI 5000 was that the pedals were slightly closer together than most other models, but the American news media got ahold of the story and rigged the cars for sensationalist news coverage. AUDI took years to recover, despite not actually having anything wrong. Toyota installed defective accelerator pedals and improperly-designed floormats. There actually was fault, and then Toyota had the audacity to try to cover it up. Very different.
  16. OK then 1) Why the disproportionate number of sudden acceleration cases in Toyotas versus other makes (prior to publicity)? and 2) Why the massive cover-up? No conspiracy theory or anything, but these are the next logical questions.
  17. Yea that's not me.
  18. ...and more importantly, the fold-down rear seats.
  19. ...what's up with the brontosaurus?
  20. That Camaro commercial was abysmal. That dud cost a LOT of money to make, too.
  21. Aren't you going to post the grandma meme?

  23. Well I've already arranged with my father that when inheritances come about, I get my grandmother's Colonial Yellow 1980 Sedan de Ville V6 with white vinyl top and white interior (yes, the opera lamps still work). I'd love a 1980 Seville to complement that fleet.
  24. I want to own one of those Sevilles one day...
  25. Well, seeing as the Cruze is brand new, the Malibu is about to be replaced by a different vehicle entirely, and the Impala will be next...I don't see the issue. Sizes grow and shrink with each generation, and we are just now seeing the new generation. I don't think the end result will be 3 vaguely similar sized sedans. Now, I want a Cruze coupe and hatch on sale in the US. There is no excuse, especially when one looks at the sales of Focus and Civic bodystyles. As for Malibu, while I think a coupe would be neat, go for the wagon. I'm guessing there's an Opel for that ("there's an app for that"). Midsized coupe sales just aren't there these days...
