  1. HHR = Heritage High Roof SRX = S-Series Reconfigurable Xover ESV = Escalade Stretched Vehicle GTO = Gran Tourismo Omologato (sp?) G6 is the only one that really doesn't have an obvious meaning to it even though some say it stands for Generation 6 of the Grand Am.
  2. I like GM design and proportions. They have a classic quality to them when done right (90s W-body, Aurora). GM also has the best heritage cues IMO.
  3. Where have you been for the last half century?
  4. NorthWest isn't a bad airline. I actually like them. They are one of a very few that offer direct flights from IND to LAX (and vice versa if you're lucky). For my winter recess flight schedule, I go LAX-DTW, then DTW-IND, but the return is direct baby! I've never been to DTW before...is it a good airport, or is it nasty? Be honest.
  5. What's the time frame on that, though? I don't really follow Toyota too closely since I don't see myself buying one...ever.
  6. If a Monte Carlo were a truck, it would be this monstrosity...
  7. Hardcore ADD. Don't fight it, just embrace it.
  8. I love it!! Saturn is quickly turning into one of my favorite divisions...and 9 months ago I would have placed it almost last on my list!
  9. Still though, the Landwind is extremely pathetic.
  10. how do you delete a post?
  11. thats disgusting
  12. What's the problem with the STS steering wheel? That it locked off perfect center? Well, any Lexus would do that too if the owner turned the car off with the wheel off center...derr! And before anyone jumps down my throat, I agree that the STS interior is subpar.
  13. This one kid got a hair cut in HS, and for some reason picked a mullet. Everyone made fun of him, including the teachers. The next day, he showed up and it was all shaved off. Peer pressure at its best.

    How rude..

    HAHA!
  15. and to make it lighter so the nose could stay off longer
  16. Uhhhh...that doesn't look like plastic. It looks like the soft, spongy, padded dash material. It has a different tecture than the plastic.

  18. Exactly! Remember, very few vehicles are at the top of their class and consistently winning comparos throughout the entire lifecycle.
  19. Well, I'm not surprised by the lukewarm review since she admitted she doesn't understand vehicles like this. I want to read a review by someone in the target market before I make any judgments.
  20. Update your "Tabbed Browser Settings" Add-on. The last release had a major glitch in it, and the new version corrects it.
  21. This is true, and intentional. The original comment was that GM was just meeting the competition. Hence I used all current vehicles. I do not have knowledge of a new Sequoia, if anyone has any info, bring it out. Even with a terrible interior, though, the 2000-2005 Tahoe was one of the best SUVs in its class, if not the best.
  22. Manuals would be tough...I drive autos...
  23. TAHOE: vs. EXPEDITION: DURANGO: SEQUOIA: ARMADA: So...which is the best? The pictures speak for themselves...
  24. Well I will implore you to look at the competition's interiors as Chevrolet most definitely did not join the competition. Go to autodeadline and look at pictures of the Sequoia, the Armada, the Durango and the Expedition. Honestly, people are NOT going to be comparing the F-150 to the Tahoe. They are very different vehicles. The valid comparison will be between the Silverado and the F-150. If you compare the Expedition to the Tahoe, the Tahoe clearly wins. I'll create another post of the interiors of the other vehicles soon.
  25. There is a slight difference with a power trunk and a power liftgate. The trunklids are generally lightweight and required someone to push down for the latch to "catch" and finish pulling the trunklid down. This meant that people's fingers were often at the edge of the trunklid and pinching was not uncommon. With a power liftgate, it motors up and down without anyone's hands needing to be near it. Also, liftgates are a bit heavier and more awkward to open/close than a trunklid.
