I would agree, the auto industry is wanting to better control the messaging and focus on their products. Millennials are a very different group of buyers and many are more than happy to get the news on their cell phone and order over the web without going into a dealership.
As such, the sellers of the future will have to adjust to the buyers desire for when and where the info comes. This will change the way things are rolled out.
It would have been really cool if GM had shown off a EV SUV or Truck. I truly believe there is pent up demand by individuals, cities, counties and states for pure EV trucks that really do not drive more than 50 miles in a day but need to haul plenty of stuff to a job site and removing the maintenance and cost of the traditional fuel would be huge.
This could have been an excellent followup to the BOLT, by showing off a Mini or Mid size EV truck concept.

That freakin rocks, I love it! that is sexy as hell and an EV to boot. This should really get people excited!

Yawn, probably a sleeper of an auto like the Prius but just pure electric. Nothing worth our time here.
-
For those they do not buy back, they better plan on not only fixing them but also paying the owners a large sum to hold onto them. The value is already in the Crapper.

LoL FCA has learned nothing.

Very Cool Review, this will make for a solid selling package for those that want the car with some power but not the V8 power and lower MPG.
Awesome

Outstanding, this has been long in coming and should help to thin out the ranks of those that really do not care about building a luxury dealership. Get those that want to compete and beat the competition incentives to do just that and get us the supporters of Cadillac nicer dealerships, services, etc.

Lot's to love about this car though I do wish they did not go so vertical with the grill. Yes they left some element of the waterfall grill but most is still vertical. The biggest issue I have is with the wrap around rear lights. Just does nothing for me.
-
The rear is pretty bland in my opinion. WOW, They so could have done much more. I like the extra leg space and wish they did this for the US.

This is OutStanding! So Cadillac not only launches a new larger sedan, but then add's a Hybrid at the same time. Guess unlike SMK and his beloved MB with a two years later they had Hybrid, Cadillac decided they needed to have it at the same time. Wonder how long before the coupe and convertible come out.
Would be great to have a CT6-Eldorado Hybrid Edition Convertible.

4) 1950 Styleline Deluxe Bel Air
5) Plymouth Valiant and Chevrolet Biscayne
Hope I nailed them!

True, was only time before a strong currency and high cost of basic labor killed manufacturing. Be interesting to see how Holden deals with the negativity. Hopefully the workers will not damage the auto's they make.

Nope but I do agree that it is a shift in life style use and the day of the Ute is numbered. In talking with people here in the northwest, a car type pickup with only seating for 2 or 3 with a bench seat is not really desired. Truly a niche auto for a small group of people.
Crew cab mid size trucks are what most people want.

Sounds like Australian economy just got it first bubble pop. Things will probably start to cool off there now. Hope so as Holden builds some damn nice auto's.
-
Still reminds me of the Ford Murader which was cool but sad.
This has a buick butt, Chevy Front and over all looks like they just cobbled parts bin pieces together.
I am not really that impressed with the body. The interior is far better and the power train is cool.

This would rock well here as a CNG run about.

Looks nice from the pictures. Z good tweak to keep the cruz fresh.

GM is doing the right thing, to bad others still have to bad mouth them when they have gone way above what other companies would have done even Toyota probably would not do this. This will make the volt just that much better.

Yawn, MEH!
WOW, Really surprised that all they did is update the motor, throw some aluminum and carbon fiber at it and then creases in the sheet metal to make it look more mad or angry.
Not impressed and why are they using the same TT-V8 that is in so many other models from this nameplate? According to some every auto should have their own distinct engines not shared with any other auto. This engine is found throughout the BMW product lines.
