WOW, those are the ugliest cars ever. Clearly style is a personal preference as I see no style in either of those two cars. Now this is a true car and sexy as hell with STYLE!

Seems the more things change, the more they stay the same. Another Tesla promise falls to the side. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Tesla-Cybertruck-to-skip-500-mile-variant-at-launch-with-350-mile-quad-motor-AWD-model-releasing-first.734300.0.html

Blazer EV is on its way to dealerships and GM has confirmed they are making 65 per hour, plant is working 24/7. This means 1,560 per day or 569,400 per year from their Mexico plant. https://insideevs.com/news/676596/gm-reportedly-shipped-first-2024-chevrolet-blazer-ev-suv-us/ Tesla has produced that world wide per quarter out of 4 plants or average of 125,000 per plant. This puts GM on par with Tesla for EV production using rough numbers. The story also says they are getting ready to ship the Blazer EV globally too.

G. David Felt replied to G. David Felt's topic in Kia
Hyundai/Kia/Genesis back in 2018 decided to go almost 100% Chinese for the Chinese market, due to the changes in the US, they started to change sourcing of components to Europe, Wide Asian, not China and the U.S. Now for the full rebate, their EVs will be assembled here in the U.S. of North American Parts totally. -

Sean Yoon, president and CEO, Kia North America and Kia America made the following statement: “Like Telluride, EV9 has the potential to be another ‘game changer’ for Kia, this will be the most sophisticated vehicle that we have ever built and will be a standout in the EV market and on the road. Best of all, it will be assembled in West Point, Georgia.” Kia has announced a $200 million expansion of their West Point, Georgia assembly plant allowing production of the 2024 EV9 three-row SUV in the second quarter of 2024. Kia has stated that this will create 200 additional jobs and will be the fifth model assembled at Kia Georgia joining the Telluride, Sorento, Sportage and K5 EV. Kia first manufacturing site in N.A. will have a annual capacity of 340,000 vehicles for their 2,200 acre campus located in West Point, GA. Kia Georgia began U.S. production on November 16th, 2009 and currently produces the Telluride, Sorento and Sportage models. They also produce the K5 mid-size EV sedan at the Georgia site with the expansion of adding the EV9 and others yet to come for U.S. production. All Kia models are assembled from locally and globally sourced parts including the EV product line. As required by the IRA act, as production comes online in the U.S. components will be changed from global suppliers to local suppliers.

Ya mean blacker pastures of the Carbon type? LOL Totally agree on this one, I just do not get it how people do not realize the ease of the toilet paper being over than under. It just does not look good on top of the ease of pulling the bloody paper to use.

Crazy the way some people get hung up on body part names.

Seems Ford has a new Pony coming to the Mach-e stable.

NO, NO, NO, Mercedes like GM and Ford has stated they will have multiple chargers at their dealerships. There is NOTHING in the press release about buying plots of land and building a stand alone charging station network. Let me help you with the simple math. At your fictional 300 dealerships, that is 8 chargers per dealer. Now if we go by their actual website, Mercedes-Benz has 383 authorized dealerships located across the United States of America1. Mercedes-Benz USA is headquartered in Montvale, NJ and has 11 office locations located throughout the US2 That means they will have 6.5 Chargers per dealership.

That is just it, Ford, GM and VW have all committed to having multiple charging stations at their dealerships, but are depending on EA, EGgo, Chargepoint, etc. this is no different than Mercedes also depending on these 3rd party companies including Tesla Supercharging stations. At best Mercedes will be like all the others, have charging stations at their dealerships but nothing else.

Evidence has already been supplied by me that NO CONSTRUCTION has started yet in Mexico, it is now at the earliest 2026. This on top of the fact that global economist are now looking to 2024 to be a recession year. This is 'the end of the beginning' of the battle against inflation, economist says (msn.com) Things are slowing down and with the new Tesla 3 supposed to be shown later this year, people will hold off on buying the current version to wait for the new version just as a recession hits. China is slowing down, Europe is the only place where between 2 to 3% growth is happening but is expected to level off. Tesla is not going to dodge the recession and still grow, they will have to slow down justl like everyone else.

NO Regrets, Live your life to the fullest my friend. We all might miss out on a specific auto that we would have loved to own and drive, but no regrets on the life we have as there are always those with a worse life than us. I would have loved to own a mid 80's Monte Carlo SS Aero in Burgundy, but not meant to be. Now I will move forward with EVs.
