  2. Well the interesting part is that most of the automakers who are shooting more for EV may slowly roll back the turbos and return to some NA engines again to save cost as sales are not going to be pretty for a year or so. Rumors were floating that GM might bring back a few of the Ecotec engine line as optional engines in the CUV lineup... The interesting part is that some one those engines could get better MPGS and HP than the current turbos in there now...

  4. Short of the Vette, there are only going to be light updates on any part of the ICE line.Even the CUV line will see what the Equinox will see for 21- just minor updates. Hence why the Trailblazer, while cool looking, is still meh compared to what they could have done. But those CUVs and new trucks will cover the gap for now..... Ford is in the same boat-but pushing harder on EV than GM is... I think for foresee that payback for cheap gas coming.....

  7. Both the Kia and the Jeep are in danger right now.....at least they will drop the price of the Jeeps now......
  8. Sadly, too late here to do it.... We have no fault in Michigan too, and regardless with who is at fault-my insurance would have to pick it up. Then maybe sue the other person. And the Balt only has basic insurance on it due to age and mileage....so again it falls on me.. ?

  10. I wish it were that easy. Many of my neighbors also park their cars in the street. The sad part is their truck has no damage on it all just a little scuff. I will get to talk to them again this week.....
  11. Yes, sadly it will be a lesson learned. The good thing is that it should get a bumper- and it won’t be broken. From here on out there will be insurance. The worse part is that is said she was talking to her insurance company. ? Sinec the Cobalt is in beater status (mind you, and well cared for beater) it only has basic insurance on it now anyways. Not to mention even with such simple damage most companies would total it at that age. Hopefully the. Balt will at least get a new bumper. Sadly, this is not the first time it has been hit while parked. I watched it get hit in a parking lot, and they drove away. No tags on the car either! Still has that dent too....poor Balt! ?

  13. For something like a parking lot or in front of a home-usually no. Now if there is injury or property damage, then they will....
  14. Sadly, when it happens in a parking lot or in front of your home (where mine happened) they rarely come out at all....
  15. As long as they do it different...maybe give it a bit of a retro flair....inside and out. Remind folks that it is still a car and not an appliance.....

  17. Which reminds me I need to find the code for my Cobalt. I regret not filing a poilce report..as her insurance will not touch my car- they “suggested” that she sue now, since they figure I will.... I might have to settle for a “prematched” colored bumper for the Balt...which will still cost them close to 500 bucks anyways. (The estimates were over a grand easy). I am not sure how I feel about that.... But, the Cobalt is already over 14 years old with over 100k (109k) with rust coming from the rockers. It’s pretty much a winter beater to protect the other cars in the family.. My OCD will get in if it is slightly different colored...but it is much better than a big hole or a primed bumper instead...

  19. Excited and thankful our Bella is home! Sadly means the project Cavvie gets parked yet again, but more importantly I can still hug my doggie! ? Maybe I’ll be able to work on the car later this year.....

  21. Yikes! Almost as bad as the ricers....
  22. Makes me wonder how good those discounts will be.... Even though the kid doesn’t drive for a good 4 years or so... ?
  23. It would be nice if they could make it an option on all lines. I already know their V6 in danger since only the US is using it at the moment. A buddy of mine who works for Toyota has mentioned that the hybrid and 4 bangers are the future. Even Toyota will be dumping a few models soon......
  24. The 3.5 is done in the Cam after this year. Sounds like they are simplifying the model line now to save some money.....
  25. @Robert Hall So sorry about Zo....I totally understand. I’ve been around dogs all my life- they are pretty much like having kids. Our Bella goes through surgery tomorrow...hoping everything will go well. It is tougher as they get older, as Bella is 10. They say things should be okay-but you truly never know...
