A Good Place To Park my Fat...
Wish I could help, DF. In 98 or 99, the firm I was working for got new chairs. The bastard owner was going to go on the cheap, but we ended up with $300 dollar chairs because some of us did the "you must be kidding" routine. Don't remember the manufacturer, or I'd tell you, but they more than paid for themselves in terms of comfort and increased productivity. So, my advice, if it goes over your price point by a little bit and you like the chair, buy the chair.

Petty co-workers are usually...
Makes me all that more determined to drive an American car, which I like anyway. And I thrive on being a nonconformist to begin with. I was thinking about these characters at work, anyway...the common denominator is that they are male or female versions of Mrs. Kravitz on "Bewitched" (for those who remember either the original or the re-runs......."Abner, Abner...")

Petty co-workers are usually...
007, it's that he spends TOO much time dwelling on what I say and do...during meetings or group sessions, I catch him studying/glaring at me and others notice it, too, and pull me aside afterward to point this out. But, back to the question, do you folks have people that are WAY too invested in what others are doing on a non-work level?

Happy Birthday VenSeattle, wherever you are ...
I second the motion. Happy birthday, Ven. I've been wondering what you've been up to.

I actually like most people at work. Most people at work like me, I think, based on the lunch and after-work invitations I get (as a ratio of work days). Everybody finds this guy annoying...I'm just more passoniate about it. He had to go way out on my Outlook to find "potential jury duty week" which overlaps with work, so I put it on there - what a douche he is.

Mileage Milestones
You know which one I really like...the last-gen Bonne...quite a ways past the 2000 release, but immediately prior to cancellation (so, 2004 or 2005)...in LE form, so there's no spoiler...with a 3800 V6 after the intake "blues"...still featuring alloy wheels and a console set-up...and in a lighter metallic color. What is an ECM tune? Your trans is original, right? I'm only saying this if I was, for some reason, to replace the Regal....*hmmm, base 98 or 99 Intrigue...or 2002 GP GT 2-door...or 2004-05 Bonneville LE* I'm too used to my current cars at this point *sigh*

Petty co-workers are usually...
Hey...there is this guy I work with that I HATE. He needs to retire. He spends waaaaaaaaayyyy too much time looking at what I do...and I don't mean work-wise. I mentioned that I had to do something (personal) in a couple of weeks. He then says that he noticed it on my Outlook. I don't look at anybody's Outlook (especially into the future), unless I'm trying to get a few people into a meeting, or set aside a conference room. Why the hell is he looking at my Outlook in the future? I don't give a rat's ass what anybody around me does? Do some people not have a life? What is their problem? Do you have petty/intrusive co-workers? I do have some cool co-workers who aren't intrusive and aren't into being busybodies about work, when you take a vacation day, when you go to the doctor, when you wipe your @$$. Those are the only ones I generally talk to. Unbelievable.

I'm looking at the badging above the driver's door and can't make it out. Is it an LE/SE/SSE? Yeah, it's a little soiled...so is it brown, burgundy or that aubergine-eggplant color?

A question for those who speak EYE-talian
Ti sei bevuto il cervello? You drank up your brain? (or maybe that someone drank their brain into oblivion) Phonetically, that's what I picked up. The single most useful Italian word, in my mind, is: VAFFANCULO! It is quite useful with all the pushy, obnoxious people in Italy...it could also fetch a black eye...oh well

Mileage Milestones
Geeky pictures welcome! Would like to see the Bonne. You subscribe to a hosting site, no? The '92 Regal will hit 262,000 this weekend, provided I drive to a granolafied area for coffee and sightseeing on Saturday night as planned. It turns 17.5 years in mid-November and the folks at work will wonder why I am bringing in morning goodies then (since I'm generally "on the take" in this regard).

A question for those who speak EYE-talian
Far and away, the language rule that irritates me the most is in FRENCH. Like all the other Latin-based languages, they too have a word for 30, 40, 50, 60 ... and then IT STOPS. There is no single word for 70, 80, and 90...and the numbers in between. For 80, it's ottanta, ochenta, oitenta in IT/SP/PT. For the French, it's quatre-vingts, or four-twenties. When I tell someone I have a 92 Regal in French, it becomes a quatre-vingts douze (or, four-twenties + twelve). Two questions about it: 1) in the dark ages, did they not barter for anything over 69 francs that they couldn't come up with one word for 70 and so on? 2) I actually heard that only one region of France has one word for 70,80,90...if so, I'd like to know where...
