I told a co-worker about this. He took it and got ESTJ ... no surprise there. All of my friends over the years have been in very practical occupations and were probably ESTJs or ISTJs. The website goes on to say how the *-NFP type complements the ESTJ or ISTJ type. I don't know about this. I would see it as a headache.

Crapiest modern car you've driven...
The general seat shape in 97-03 had flatter bolsters and was easier to get in and out of. For a medium-sized person, this was more comfortable, but the protuding bolsters of 04 and beyond annoyed me. The hollowed out-headreast was a sporty cue. I'll admit it's not comfortable, but I generally don't lean back into the headrest. It looked good, but it didn't look comfortable. The GP that just departed would have been much better and more successful if it blended: 97-03 front fascia 04-08 rear lights 97-03 seating config with filled-in headrests 04-08 dash and console design 97-03 dash and console workmanship (better, at least) 97-03 slightly taller roofline It was too polarizing.

I think that the design of the interiors was fine (shape of the dash/console) but that the craftsmanship/materials was not. The circular vents were kind of cool. I think that the 04+ seats were not comfortable, nor were they nicely finished..the prior gen had more comfortable and more nicely upholstered seating (they took a step back in 04)

You're talking 97-03 and not 04-08, right? That was a less polarizing car and they sold a lot of them. I've talked to people who have 97-03 GPs who really like them.

Do you like the new LaCrosse/Allure?
So, if you were in the market right now, which would you buy? (You've bought Fords before).

Just took it again...hadn't done this in about 6 months. It said ISTJ. Yeah, this is more like it, moving into I at +12, instead of E at +1. All I need is an "N" and I can be an architect. LOL.

I'm barely over on both E and S. I'm almost at midpoint, so I border on IN. The TJ never changes. Then why don't I like architects?

Crapiest modern car you've driven...
I vaguely remember those. If a car is forgotten, that's not good. Nobody forgets a 70s/80s Cutlass or Grand Prix or Camaro or Firebird. Wait. Isn't that the twin of the Mercury Zephyr at the time?

BACON EXPLOSION
How about thanking ME for the boscaiola sauce recipe? LOL.

BACON EXPLOSION
There are some pasta sauces that have bacon, but they call it pancetta (pahn-chet-tah). The sauce I refer to is boscaiola sauce. It is a tomato cream sauce with egg, onions and pancetta (and sometimes even mushrooms). I prefer any of the cream-based pasta sauces (Alfredo, carbonara, boscaiola, gorgonzola, pesto cream) over tomato marinara-type pasta sauces. Bacon is an awesome addition to any food but, man, in large quantities, it is dangerous.

I am sure it will last a long time and you probably got it for a good (reasonable) price.

ISTJs are your engineers, accountants, pharmacists, etc, etc....people involved in precise detailed stuff, but the TJ part gives them some managerial aspects.

Since I'm only 1 point over into E, I'll go with ISTJ for myself. I think it's a good category and I like what the profile indicates. For some reason, the big movers and shakers in this world supposedly test as ENTJs, with the people who do their work for them testing as ESTJs.

I get this one, too. However, the results are scaled. I tip into the "E" category by a slim margin. I guess figuring out there are so many jerks in this world, it's easier to be "I" than "E."

Very classless and mean-spirited...I wouldn't make an inference like that about someone I didn't know and hadn't met response to thread: Bombay

The Aura felt small...it's related to the G6 and not the GP, right? I like the grille and the taillamps on the Aura, and the corrugated applique on the dash insets...other than that, not much more. I've never seen one in a rental fleet.

Do you like the new LaCrosse/Allure?
Agreed. I'm not to the level of "hating" it, but "strongly indifferent" is about as bad. I see it as a collage of a lot of current cars it is trying to emulate. Sadly, I can't say that about the Fusion nor the new Taurus. The way the (sales) numbers will shake out for this segment will be interesting.
