  1. Bulls eye! Frowned upon! Where the heck do you guys (especially WMJ) get that "B" that's supposed to be an "ss." Like StraBe instead of Strasse. Can my keyboard do that? I'm just a dumb Sicilian, after all!
  2. Yo, P-C-S, that has to be the Burbank (the original) location. I think I remember that palm frond and the color/style of the building articulation behind it. Whenever relatives come to visit and I take them to Cali, we go to THAT Bob's and order "the combo." Now, if Rosie were there, I would probably VOMIT "the combo."

  6. And that's exactly the point. While I thought it was definitely a pleasant car (even with the 2.7 litre engine), it's the styling that takes it out of the conteder list for potential purchase. I design(ed) things for a living (up to 2 months ago), though not cars. I require a car that is aesthetically very balanced and pleasing to the eye. The 300 and Chargers do not qualify, IMO. On the other hand, when I see a new GP drive down the street, or the new MC with the updated 2006 + front end, I take note. To me, those are good-looking cars! And they are mechanically sound, as well. Plus, most of us here are rabid GM fans!

No, but you'd like to! See, you forbade me from speaking in another language, so the smart-aleck in me now has to find another way to vent! ocn, ocn, ocn...

  9. I just can't stand looking at her, listening to her tough-guy voice and watching her brusque (read: less than feminine) way of carrying herself. I'm sure that there are "normal" off-the-radar screen lesbians out there, but unfortunately, she comes right to the forefront when you think of the "packaging" of the bad attributes. I seriously hope her entertainment "shelf life" is limited, thus opening the way for somebody more worthwhile.

  12. OK, an 8-year old car with the 3.5, which was relatively uncharted territory at that time...how is the engine holding up for however many miles it has?

GM1, do you actually live inside the Philadelphia city limits as you list on your profile or in one of the 'burbs?Every Philadelphian I've ever known lived in one of its suburbs - namely Upper Darby, Villanova and Media.

  15. At slightly over $ 20K, I will be getting a base GP or MC or something to that effect...with a 5 yr/100M warranty. Also, I need to use up my GM Card earnings, now at over $ 2,000.Now, if I do get an Intrigue, it will be as a second car and it will probably be a 1998 or 1999 that a Medicare Mabel has pampered and hardly driven. It would be interesting to know what the color of that Intrigue final 500 is.
  16. Landis, I have ONE reaction to the bench seat in a touring sedan:

  19. Oh, yeah, you're not kidding. About 2 years ago, I went into a Cad-Buick dealership in the area when the LaCrosse (Allure to you CDNs) was fairly fresh. I wasn't crazy about his price given that he was the fleet guy ($ 1500 off on $ 24000 USD car since I've done better dealing with a sales rep that had no special title) and then I told him I wanted an extended warranty. He kept on going about their local warranty. I told him, but not exactly these words: "You don't listen to the customer's desires, mofo, I don't even plan to stay in this area, so I don't want to deal with an unknown entity. GMPP or nothing." I wasn't ready to purchase, anyway. But, it will be GMPP or NOTHING.

  21. The Regal will stay with me through the year or early spring, depending on whether I decide to shoot for 250M for the hell of it. Do you want to buy it?Actually, I will continue put in the (not contraceptive - LOL) foam, even when the new sled arrives. :AH-HA_wink: to you too.

  25. Looking forward to seeing them, ideally with some backdrops of some great local scenery from your area. Congrats.
