  1. OK, getting off the subject of crabs, I'd like to meet quite a few people on the board but at the top of my list would be: - the Californians on the board - the Floridians on the board - all the WOPs on the board - the Toronto folks on the board - any architect* or architecture student on the board - anybody on the board who speaks Italian, Spanish or Portuguese though there are other individuals who don't fit into this list... * that could be scary, I'd have to meet Reg  - j/k Reg, you're my buddy...perverted and all.
  2. Canadians are EXPERTS at levying taxes, but car rental surcharges are nuts everywhere. Europe/Italy is FAR WORSE. BTW, it's Robert or Bob.
  3. Hey, Riv, it is mandated by the states/counties/municipalities. No kidding. One usually encounters the following in some jurisdictions: (1) sales tax, (2) vehicle license fee, (3) concession recovery fee, (4) frequent flyer surcharge, and 1 or 2 more so that the aggregate amounts to the tune of 25 to 40 % of the base rental charge. Only in California, for some reason, is there just the sales tax, which blows my mind because the state has a host of other taxes. Obviously, the lawmakers felt that apportioning the airport concession to the renters was not cool. There's no getting around it depending on where you rent. In the Seattle area, rental cars were heaped with a stadium levy! I couldn't believe it! How the hell does a casual renter from the other side of the country benefit from the Seahawks and/or Mariner's new stadium? Therefore, in those locations that have these taxes, the best protection is to go for the low base rate since most of these surcharges will function as a percentage of that rate. And don't forget to mention AAA or Costco memberships if you have those.
  4. I like anything with a G - You never let people tell you what to do! Maybe I should have been a GREG: Never let people tell you what to do / F'ing sexy / Damn good kisser / Never let people tell you what to do Now we're talking.
  5. Shenene...ooh, lordy, I heard that...walk on, child! Ocn, don't be talking about coves and $h!, Nick's not like that. Sheez.
  6. R f'in sexy O you are one of the best in bed B you like people E damn good kisser R f'in sexy T you are loyal to those you love Let's say the ones having to do with interpersonal qualities are true and, since I'm humble, I'd rather not comment on performance related ones. Turns out to be better than Trinacriabob which has "you like to drink" in there (via the A), which I absolutely do not. I think Robert means noble or leader-like, which work fine by me.
  7. Never been to Hawaii and I grew up in L.A. Go figure! One of these days. I keep going the other way...to FL...or ALL the way across the pond to Europe. Have fun and don't do anything foolish!
  8. Then, QUICK Yes or No: Will I be able to get both a mildly enhanced 2008 Buick La Crosse (which they will start producing in summer 2007) with a 3800 Series III V-6?
  9. Ditto. Any and all someday. Why not?
  10. Funny! Not to worry, CK and RL have evolved. They look like regular jeans now, loose fitting and they sometimes have the pre-washed look. And $ 21.99 !
  11. And how is Brenda, our husky-voice cocktail waitress? :AH-HA_wink: (How'd she get into that line of work, anyway?)
  12. Nice shape, overall...like the fact that they are gravitating toward those door handles. Yes, an improvement over the current Malibu. However, I don't like the rear pinhole lights. Too weak for the available space. I thinkthe front grille is also a little too big. It is better, but it could be even better.
