* After a frustrating/nerve-wracking week (death of a good friend and dealing with my primary care doctor and cardiologist), this road trip IS A GO! The CT Scan (heart/chest) ordered by my cardiologist CAN wait until July, AFTER my road trip! The test (for which I have to take pre-meds due to my kidney issues) was originally scheduled for October, but after my EGD on June 3, this was moved to "ASAP" status..... My May 2011 cardiology checkup revealed I have an enlarged heart and am now pacemaker dependent...along with issues starting to develop with my pig's valve (installed January 6, 2003)....
