  1. Meh - early discs were not great, and lagged behind the best drums for many years. Look at the above pic : non-vented, single-piston - they faded just like mid-pack drums did. - - - - -
  2. Still talking about the CT6 tho? Guess I’m surprised anyone is that negative / indifferent on it’s styling. Seems quite obvious it’s nothing but a Cadillac, and I don’t think that’s just me.
  3. Guessing it didn't look quite so snazzy there/then.
  4. I've never seen one in person either, but '72s are pretty low production; 5807 built.
  5. That last blue GTO has the 'unobtanium' 'ducktail' spoiler. Reputedly, the mold to cast these broke on the first day and was not replaced, so technically there was no rear spoiler option for '72. A few originals made it out, and repros are available.
  6. ‘77. Lettering in back windo read “screw your ‘new car’ smell, we’ve got ‘old corpse’ smell” ‘53 Super or Roadmaster ~
  7. Most all the new stuff looks the same; homogenized. BMW could well be a Camaro from the rear.
  8. 428 is a rare, killer engine in the sweet spot of bore-stroke ratio. Makes fantastic power when built. I believe they were all 4-bolt main.
  9. ^ Says the guy who frantically rips the chin spoilers off every vehicle he buys. Seriously, there's no way to pass this off as an original. The VIN doesn't match the data plate (23567 vs. 23767), so there's another red flag. With Judge converts being so incredibly rare / expensive, I can see a case where someone, with merely paint/ a spoiler/ decals can 'obtain' something he might never otherwise.
  10. ^ Its not bad, but it certainly appears to have ditched a lot of the 'big truck' look. Feels sorta like 1997 2.0.
  11. '72 Buick GS350, big project, still has SBB 350 (with aftermarket upgrades) under fiberglass GS hood ~
  12. Tragic :
  13. ^ “...with only 5000 miles on the dashboard” ?
  14. '84 toyoter, 120K miles. "The more things change...." :
  15. ^ To date; not much evidence there's any such thing at BMW.
  16. Mercedes owned the Euro van segment in the U.S.. Then the US brands entered product and now mercedes Commercial --still trying to push a price premium for a cargo box-- is hemorrhaging market share. Ford has killed the sprinter.
  17. And I'm sure that's written in very large lettering on the walls in the BMW EV Planning Department.
