  1. ...'cept I'm only on a computer (vs. a tablet/phone).
  2. Condensed font for the BIG WIN. However, the logo is impossibly small if there was any idea of reading the shift pattern.
  3. And it's on a Range Rover !!
  4. Of course, it's outrageous. BUT, as configgered, the truck I posted is only $600 more than the first one you posted. BTW- the 20's are around $1400, so the diff is really only $1500.
  5. Ya- dey $2995.00. Obviously I have basically no other options in that price other than 4WD.
  6. 4.3L / 6-spd, factory 22's ~
  7. Bill is too busy starting up his shed re-roofing business for a mid-size truck. Bill- I think bumping the rims up to 20's would fix any of the first truck's potential 'old dude' image. 2nd one is fine.
  8. This is only 10 months ago : https://www.theverge.com/2017/12/14/16776466/volvo-drive-me-self-driving-car-sweden-delay What are the parameters for Volvo's system- inner city or highways only still?
  9. 3 traditional teen employment categories I never was a cog in: retail, pumping gas (NJ), fast food. Yet I worked since I was in my early-teens.
  10. Well... that's a valid question, of course. But on any trim-within-a-model scenario. Was just playing around on the Silverado configurer: Crew Cab : $2200 4WD : $600 5.3L V8 : $4095 LT trim : $4700 - which is a bunch of features & trim, some of which may overlap with with 4WD- it would take a legal pad & some time to get hard line-item numbers and avoid duplication. That's $11.6K right there. Keep in mind these are MSRP numbers- almost no vehicles sell at MSRP. Even the '19 Silverado B&P has discounted prices for some of the packages (such as All Star).
  11. A 'regular truck' CAN cost $60K, but a mid size loaded car can also cost more than $40K. While the Denali may start at $55K, a Silverado Double Cab starts at $33K.
  12. Well, it happened 4 times today : looked at my phone at 1:11 and 3:11, saw some advertisement on TV that said the event was starting 11/11 and just sat down at the compu-machine at 11:11. - - - - -
  13. Saw a McLaren 570GT driving today, black. I had to google it; I don't follow this segment of cars but for some reason I did think 'McLaren'.
  14. To be fair; I'm NOT knocking the XT4 woman, she's very attractive. WRT Levieva ('The Deuce' woman above,) I see she's actually 38, but yes- she looks notably younger. Helps she was a competitive gymnast prior to; she's in great shape (and doesn't have mom thighs ). Boils down to genes tho; Maggie Gyllenhaal (same show) is 40 but could be 50 by looks; they're only 2 years apart.
  15. Ugh- not sure I can/want to nurse my 2004 until 2022. Powertrain is rock-solid but other things are starting to 'wink' at 186K.
  16. ^ Kinda tough to do a CPO on a 2019 right now! - - - - - XP-807, Corvette concept ~
  17. He's 18-20, she's 38. What do they talk about?
  18. 'Built' an AT4 : $58,7xx. ?
  19. OK- here's me & my first vehicle : '64 Grand Prix. I still own this car. I'm 20 in this pic ~ Being 20 tells the story- I didn't actually have a car in HS, but shortly after. My father wouldn't allow it then, tho I tried numerous times; the '64 Studebaker GT Hawk and the '59 Catalina come readily to mind.
  20. Family discord sucks. My father's sister poisoned their father against his son (my father), I believe to gain his assets. Karma stepped in tho, and the aunt died of a brain aneurysm 2 years before my grandfather (who made it 6 weeks shy of 101). Not that any of us cared about it, but my brother, sister & I were cut out of his will anyway. Her 2 kids (my only first cousins) were/are just as shitty as the aunt. Bill- you're a car guy, don't you need copies of those early motoring pics?? You're in a neighboring state- not like she's in Nebraska.
  21. Family discord, or is your cousin in the witness relocation program?
  22. XP-817 Corvette project ~
  23. Because you are correct- this was a Corvair program; the pic is mis-identified.
