  1. The interior and exterior look dated, like this car was first made in the 90's. However, the tailights look like they came from the new 3 series and Jetta. Edit: And WTF kind of car company name is "Brilliance?" If it ever ends up in the U.S. it would be a laughing stock.
  2. The interior looks great for a Hyundai (or any manufacturer), though they mashed the interior design of the CLS and every new BMW together. RWD sounds nice, along with the 270HP. I think price (and perhaps exterior design) will be the deciding point. Overall, I'm very impressed. Edit: After looking at the exterior pictures again, I think the rear door design looks like an Altima and the windowsill and door sides look like the G35. I know there's camo on the car but those are my initial impressions.
  3. The HHR appeals to me a lot more than any gussied up PT.
  4. Having good quality interior materials helps create a positive image and, like Lutz said, the perception of high quality. Sit in a 4Runner and then a Trailblazer and you'll see the difference. The same with an Accord vs Malibu (or Impala if you believe they fight against each other) and F150 vs Silverado. I don't know about anyone else but I "caress" the dashboards, door panels, seat fabric, headliner, etc. There are major differences to be seen and felt.
  5. Hopefully the current sissy Durango front end is injected with some masculinity so it matches the rest of the car and Dodge's design theme.
  6. When I think of entry-level, I think of the A4, C class, 3 series, CTS, IS, G, 9-3 and the upcoming Zephyr. For the intermediate level, I think of the A6, E class, 5 series, STS, GS, M, 9-5 and the LS. Caddy needs the ULS in order to compete with the high-end cars from the various manufacturers. I think the next-gen CTS should be a little bit smaller and use space more efficiently. Edit: BTW, the local dealer conglomerate (Peruzzi) is opening a new Caddy dealership within the next year or so. I can't wait.
  7. This whole situation really sucks for the Asians. That being said, it's not like they inflated their engine's HP on purpose. The "new" test shares some of the blame and Toyota has been testing their engines with premium fuel in order to get the higher HP. Hopefully they've learned their lesson. And 190HP is rediculous. The new Camry couldn't come fast enough, no pun intended.
  8. I'll take a Cobalt, please.
