MSN Autos: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe Review
Agreed... a far more relevant 'con' would be the Tahoe's useless third-row. The ones in the Expedition, Durango, Armada, and Sequoia can actually fit people.

Toyota to Launch Lexus $170,000 Supercar in 2008
It sounds more like a GT car than a road-going racecar.

Cadillac BLS In Depth
I think it's nice... it'll do well against metrosexual cars like the S40.

Geneva: Chevrolet Captiva (production S3X)
Will this arrive as the Grand Vitara in the US?

2007 Toyota Camry Finally Out...
Wow, the pricing looks very reasonable... V6 models start at $23,040.

New BMW 3 Series Coupe Spy Shots
It's a bad Photoshop... we've seen actual pics of the rear already, and it's much nicer.

Cars that should have been imported
No, no, I know. It just seems fitting since Jaguar is becoming increasingly downmarket, particularly with their Mondeo-based X-type. I was trying to joke that perhaps we'll see a Focus-based Z-type hatchback... with cloth upholstery, FWD, no wood trim, wheel covers, black molding, and 4-cylinder engine, of course. What's really weird is how some UK X-types have optional power rear windows.

I know! Jaguar Z-type!

Did He fall asleep, or was he racing?
Really stupid question: is the Camaro unibody or BOF?

Cars that should have been imported
The current Mazda 3 and Volvo S40/V50 use the European Focus platform already.

Cars that should have been imported
I highly doubt they'd go through all the trouble of readying the Mexico plant for an entirely different, limited-production and limited-appeal vehicle. Even the GTI isn't made in Mexico along with the Jettas and regular Golfs.

Best General Motors Ever
I love those GM "Then & Now" commercials.

Los Angeles Advertising
I was surprised, too, even by my own observations. Just today I saw several Corvettes, '07 Tahoes, and HHRs, and plenty of Suburbans and Silverados. Pontiac, on the other hand, doesn't really exist, apart from rusted-out Grand Ams and rental G6s.

Buick Enclave and AUTOMOBILE
I wonder if this review we're talking about is part of Cumberford's design analysis. If so, then it seems fair, as he equally pans cars from all manufacturers.

Los Angeles Advertising
I see just as many Chevy television ads as Toyota ads. The latest are the Edmunds "Head2Head" ones that proclaim "LOS ANGELES IS THE NUMBER ONE MARKET FOR CHEVY" in big, bold letters.

Pontiac G6 earns IIHS 'good' rating
The HHR is based on the Cobalt, which did fairly acceptable for a small car. With side curtains, the Cobalt got an "acceptable" side rating. All Cobalt sedans get a "good" frontal rating.

IIHS Tests Fusion, Sonata, G6, TSX, 3, G35, IS
The IIHS side crash is tougher than the Euro NCAP/ANCAP test. The offset frontal test, however, is similar.

Did He fall asleep, or was he racing?
Maybe 7 MPH, but not 70. Perhaps it was from the passenger side. The US GTO does not offer side airbags, and a head striking a pole at 70 MPH would definitely shatter.

IIHS Tests Fusion, Sonata, G6, TSX, 3, G35, IS
Some notes... * I suspect the extra length of the G6's wheelbase (compared to the Malibu sedan's) is to blame for the "marginal" side structure. The Malibu has an "acceptable" structure, and when equipped with option side airbags, is the only domestic, midsize Top Safety Pick. * The Malibu also has more effective head restraints than the G6. * Both the Malibu and G6 suggest injuries to the right tibia in the frontal crash. A knee airbag or a foam knee bolster would help. * Without optional side airbags, both the Malibu and G6 get poor ratings for the side crash. Having them as standard would help improve perceptions of GM safety. * The Fusion appears to have a strong structure, marred by not having side airbags as standard (and Ford not requesting a test with them). * The TSX performed worse ("acceptable" side) than the Accord ("good" side).
