  1. There's lots of Pontiac DNA in the G8, Ocn... Just not the specific DNA you wanted. A duh.
  2. No wonder I keep seeing so many Pontiac traits...
  3. I have found the most ignorant drivers... Plymouth drivers. They just don't car about their beat up little Dodge rebadges and tend to drive accordingly. Neons, Breezes, Voyagers...
  4. Wagons. And going off Sly's first post... quite possibly the sexiest modern wagon: And going off TJ's...
  5. I suppose him being so off base is what surprised me... I mean, according to him the Malibu shown in Detroit is too good to be the actual one. Gracias.Anyways, yeah... This guy is quite delusional. He's lives near me, so I could bop him over the head with an empty diet pepsi bottle if I ever need to.
  6. Congrats... Looks good. Me? I'd paint it darker color (I have one in mine.. ) to contrast well with freshly polished chrome. But that's just me.
  7. *Racking his brain* Plumcrazy. I haven't seen him in... Forever.
  8. I always had full size images on my old PC and it had about as much memory as a cell phone does.
  9. Ocn, I will go all the way down to Lancaster and slap you if I have to. Whine, complain, bitch... Yeah... That's exactly why. That doesn't sound attractive in the least...
  10. Someone explain this to me... the one in the official pics had different head and taillights than the one unveiled. Yeeeah.
  11. NOS, read the article, not just the quotes.. C/D TEST RESULTS: Zero to 60 mph: 6.1 sec Zero to 100 mph: 15.3 sec Zero to 130 mph: 32.3 sec Street start, 5–60 mph: 6.5 sec Standing ¼-mile: 14.6 sec @ 99 mph Top speed (drag limited): 141 mph Braking, 70–0 mph: 169 ft Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.86 g For comparison, the Camry's results: C/D TEST RESULTS: Zero to 60 mph: 5.8 sec Zero to 100 mph: 14.5 sec Zero to 130 mph: 31.0 sec Street start, 5–60 mph: 6.1 sec Standing ¼-mile: 14.3 sec @ 99 mph Top speed (governor limited): 145 mph Braking, 70–0 mph: 170 ft Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.81 g
  12. I'm sorry, but I've always like C&D's writing.
  13. I keep looking this over, and I must say, it really looks like a modern interpretation of the last Bonneville and last two Grand Prix's. The front, the greenhouse, the rear... All have some of those in it. It's just a very modern, muscular, and straight foward looking design that's evocative of those. Unless you were looking for something all out retro or more bold than a little old lady frightening Trans Am... I'm not sure how anyone could possibly be disappointed. Sure, it's just a Commodore, but it translates very well with Pontiac's recent designs. As far as little complaints like the hood scoops and taillights... Please tell me how they're any worse than these: I don't recall anyone complaining about those...
  14. ..So out of touch and ignorant to reality? Never have I come across someone so... ironically biased.
  15. If liking that car is a guilty pleasure... I can't imagine what I like that's not then. But yes, it's one of my favorites. For me, guilty pleasures would have to be large luxury coupes/sedans. It's not something that's my style in the least, but I oddly like them. Buick Park Avenues and Rivieras (the G-bodies), Cadillac Eldorados, Sevilles, and DTS's, Infiniti Q45s and I35s, BMW 7ers (pre-bangle), Jaguar XJ's, Lexus LS (first gen), Lincoln Town Car (the early 90's one) and so on. I have no idea why, but they appeal to me.
  16. I have to agree... Call it bland, but this G8 oozes more style than any Charger which is just blocky and excessive in comparison.
  17. Cory Wolfe replied to NOS2006's topic in The Lounge
    The latest and greatest.
  18. Wow... I wasn't expected them to be stunningly beautiful, but damn.. Those are hideous.
  19. I will personally slap anyone that complains. This car is easily the most competitive thing to grace Pontiac's lineup in a long, long time... and it's sexy as hell to boot. Love it.
  20. 1989 Honda Civic with mismatched doors and altezzas.
  21. Very.
  22. Well, I don't know about you, but it is by far one of the sexiest sedans out there. I even like it more than the CTS. I loved the GTO, but it's not hard to see why it "failed".
