  1. Saturn as a concept was flawed from the beginning. Why would GM create an import fighting brand with a unique working relationship with the UAW when they should have been employed that basic strategy across the entire company. Instead they wasted billions in the process and have nothing to show for it.
  2. ...and starting at $22,995 for an LS and $30,995 for an SS.
  3. +1 to that!!! The level of execution is far behind what we're used to from GM. You'll all flip when you see it in person on the streets, it's ridiculous! Pictures don't do it justice.
  4. You'd think otherwise if you've actually seen it in person. The Mustang is pure junk inside, even in pre-production trim, this Camaro was far nicer and had much better materials.
  5. Holy cow... pictures don't do it justice! I just got back from the unveil and to see it in person and in natural lighting is phenomenal. If anyone is in the Detroit area, just head down to Main Street in Royal Oak and it'll be out in public for all to see.
  6. C'mon guys, anyway think of questioning the authenticity of these photos? Jalopnik only care about getting hits from getting information and photos out, not its accuracy. The upper right-hand photo is the most damning, indicating that these are fakes and proxies as part of the survey. Compare the rear window slope versus existing spy photos of the actual car and you can see the huge difference. GM is not stupid enough to let actual photos of the production car go out on some print survey material.
  7. I wouldn't put to much into the VRX name.
  8. SWEET FIND!!! The C7 out testing already!!! And it's a Harley-Davidson edition too! Way to go GM for scooping that away from Ford!

  10. Utter and complete fake from Vince. :AH-HA_wink:
  11. Alpha is not that early and a lot of the information is not totally accurate.
  12. Man.... you need to loosen up. I'm just putting this out there as a unique opportunity for people who might not even be aware of such career choices. The questions aren't the point, understanding people's response and logic is. :AH-HA_wink:
  13. Contrary to what some other boneheads are saying, it's not a Monte or Chevelle. Hell, it's not even a coupe, the perspective and grainy image are throwing everyone off. Sometime the simpliest explanation is the real one. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. First off, how's everyone doing? I still hang around, but unfortunately don't participate anywhere near the levels I used to. I'm sure I wasn't the only car geek out there that wanted to turn my life's passion into a full-time career. I've been fortunate enough to be involved in this business for quite sometime and have obtained all my auto related positions due mostly to my sheer enthusiasm and understanding vehicles and of the market. Now's here you're chance. There is an opening to work with me (trust me, no big thrill hanging with me) as a forecast analyst for the North American market. If you're interested and preferably live in Michigan and have a strong desire to get into the auto industry as an analyst and have excellent computer skills, drop me a line and take the below AH-HA challenge. 1) You have $30,000, no more, to buy a new vehicle. What do you get and why? 2) What do you consider the most significant debut in the US market over the next 12 months? 3) You see the Saturn Aura is not taking off and doing as well as expected. Inventory levels and incentives are rising, what course of action would you envision GM take? 4) What do you see as a the next big trend? Thanks guys! :AH-HA_wink: [email protected]
  15. GM has already laid Trax, now get ready to Groove to the Beat! :AH-HA_wink:
