  1. that's right, blame fuel prices, when it's really your ugly vehicles fault.
  2. they'll find a way to mess this up. SCRAMBLER? they are insane.
  3. i like the chrome and the seat color. not a fan of that gray plastic looking crap, or the floor carpeting...
  4. If you just price out a Pilot right now, just to get "most" of the options on a BASE acadia, the price is already over 32k. The acadia is a DEAL!
  5. Um, and the Enclave is a whole lot bigger... 29k as a base price is fantastic. that's a steal.
  6. That explanation would make sense. Besides, the "mules" we've seen picture of are euro/chinese cars anyways. And we know how different chinese and american lacrosses are... (we've seen how clever GM is getting at testing disguised stuff, so maybe the 08 STS is heavily reworked, but they don't want us to see just yet...)
  7. And that wouldn't be that "hard" to do. make the STS an 1-2 inches longer, reworked inside and outside, and bamn a top seller. the platform and driving dynamics are already awesome, it's just what the driver has to look at...
  8. HOORAAAAAY! "extensively" reworked STS is fantastic! So is an H3 SUT!
  9. the new clay STS mystifies me. guess GM likes to surprise us. of course if it's brand new for 08 i'd be thrilled. the current model will be dead in a year. Maybe those mules driving around are just ugly on the outside for a reason? considering these products, is it any wonder York ditched GM and ran? there's probably not much he can do...
  10. OMG! GM can use these lucurnes for feedback on how the younger crowd likes/dislikes the lucerne. Maybe even get ideas for a Lucerne SUper.
  11. it's like the ugly, backwater cousin to the G35. the one you hide from at family reunions.
  12. soo...ugly....must...close...window....
  13. the SLT model is just overkill.
  14. when i feel that GM numbers aren't good enough, these numbers always make me laugh.
  15. the jetta sales are down b/c people probably got confused a bought last year's camry by mistake. is VW selling anything the America wants these days?
  16. Ouch. Guess it's not good that the Accord and Civic sales decided to plummet for this month? I can't believe the RSX outsells the RL and they cancel it, to move the brand upscale. Who thinks the RL sales will be in the 900's next month? MEEEE!
  17. yeh, those nissan truck numbers can thank the incentives for their sales. they won't last. i'm guessing it's bad that M sales are already heqding down of what they should be, when the product is only 2 years old? and who is buying all these maximas!
  18. what! here at UF? i must take pictures! insanity!
  19. i think buick and cadillac should have them as well. But caddy's should be RWD based. Buick and Saab can share the FWD/AWD platform. My example is this. the X5 and X3. Can you imagine the laughs if BMW made the X3 fwd? And GM should not be following Acura as an example, b/c their FWD in luxury vehicles makes them appear 2nd tier.
  20. someone i can agree with!
  21. i don't know if it was a matter of cost, but maybe rather asthetics. I don't think the LED's would give the effect they wanted in the tailights. Much like how the current CTS has the neon bulb CHMSL. And it doesn't look like the concept had LED brakelamps either. so i guess we can't fault them for "not staying true to concept"....
  22. (a) so what's it going to be? G8? GP? a new name? (b) a smaller-torana based vehicle. Small, light, RWD, 4cylinder... it would be a great g5 or G6 replacement. A real pontiac performer.
  23. omg beautiful. love it love it love it. home run Gm!
  24. excellent strategy. it's going to be a good next 12 mo's.
  25. there should be a v-series, just for the sake of Cadillac's image. it would be a limited volume, but they would sell every single one. As long as it was only like 10-12k over sticker. Supercharged V-8? V-10? V-12? that would be a true caddy flagship.
