Tons of hiking myself, blood work is very good for me also. This is impressive. I used to lust after these-now I am all about owning a pickup truck and travelling all over in it. Enjoying driving and being in the moment is the imprtant part. Great cars though. So ugly it is actually pretty, bonus GM content in background. This just says get in, sit down and drive me. Love Ford's 1960's interiors.

On a totally different note, I love Salvadore Dali

Todays funny. One more... Yet another... I actually like this guy

For some reason, the 60's GTO's looked good with a center post/B pillar (68 Panther would kill me!) and slicks, vintage drag graphics, and a 4 speed.

You never thought you would hear me say this again...but I see another Ford in my future! I like the two door Bronco more than the 4 door. Sadly, tons of saveable cars left to rot and die. I have seen all 3 in the wild during my wild youth. I lose the hummus battle on a near daily basis, and there is ice cream available at the University dining hall where I eat lunch. 3 months would be a huge improvement for me. Iris mist GTO. I love this car, I love this color. Or, similar car with dog dish caps. I really like this as a 2 door post car as well.

This also is up locally, one family owned E code dual 4 V 57... Obligatory motor shot...

Solid old bird. Local FB marketplace. My life is overly complicated right now, the last thing I need is a Dog, a motorcycle, or another vintage car. Chances of avoiding one of the three....not good. This would look better with different/stock rims....but solid old T-Bird. Listing... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/638275820634115/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks&tracking={"qid"%3A"-7445773511443341994"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"565423920607993354"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A565423920607993354%2C\"target_type\"%3A6%2C\"primary_position\"%3A0%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A5810536284094988288%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A501%2C\"value\"%3A0%2C\"upsell_type\"%3A21%2C\"grouping_info\"%3Anull}"} Motor could use a stock air breather assembly and a good detail. Or if you prefer red... For Balthazar, vintage dealership pic from Newark Ohio....in a T-Bird frame of mind.

Just liked the picture, happy Tuesday everyone.

We will be hiking Thursday somewhere up near Cleveland. Wife hs not decided exactly where yet. That is amazing. Cue the 5 page C and G discussion about Hooker and Blow being ICE or EV. If Electric is good enough for Hitachi,m It's good enough for Hooker and Blow.

It's like you canb't win, because union contractors have lots of problems....but lots of non union contractors are really shakey, at least here in Ohio. The games exployers/contractors play is one huge reason I work for a University and not out in the field, have not worked out in the field for almost 9 years now. Mellow take on an old favorite. Posted this on my FB time line, just like the picture. Teaching my firned Sean to turn, this is his bowl. From Zaleski Forest, where we like to hike. Abandonded Baltimore and Ohio manline is an interesting, alternate trail to the left in this picture. From my Recent Fort Lauderdale trip. Yours truely.

WE have both highly qualified union and non union contractors that work for our university. And a few non qualified half wit contractors of both the union and non union variety. I am getting too old for all of that. Miss the days when I could work like that, I really enjoy working.

Ya never know about women... The way the world works, sadly.

I am being super careful with my Truck as I know my chances of replacing it if totaled or stolen at the moment are not good.

I know you are not a fan of 70's cars, but I find this era of Chevy kinda hot in a way. I actually love this picture. If Chevy impala's had an onlyfans account, this is how they would present themselves. Cars, woodworking, hiking, reading and Music are my escape from the current world. Sometimes escapism is good. I find the tech behind electric cars interesting. I don't thinbk theya nre a cure all. Somewhere there is a planet in pristine shape wher4e something like human life has not evolved. Here on earth the universe is aware of itself through humans. I think we need to be good but not perfect stewards of what we have been given. Electric cars seem like a step in the right direction. Tell us how you really feel sir...and happy Monday to ya!

They really do. That being said, either of you are ever in Columbus, I will take you to Dirty Franks, our premere hot dog joint. https://dirtyfranks.com/

Ford Beats GM to the E-Crate Game!!!

Just like really bad carpentry work.....a little putty and paint, make the old girl what she ain't. It will be interesting. My only thought is god only knows what will happen with the classic car thing. People have been modifying fully restored Mustangs, tri fives, corvettes and the like for a long time. Putting insane amounts of money in. Just like Porn..... when it comes to fantasy....a fool and his money are soon parted. I never thought I would see modified or original first gen bronco's selling for the insane prices they are selling for. -

Exactly why this place has been so interesting to watch for the last 16 years for me. -

House next to me they bought for 200k roughly before prices went up. They dumped 80K plus into changing it even though it was in pristine shape. She (owner) wanted something different. She owns a few pizza resteraunts that make a good bit of change, and can afford it. Just because you don't expect to make money back out doesn't mean its a bad use of money. Green car for you if you don't like EV conversions. This is bio friendly... -
This blue looks especially good. Balthy, I like the Jeep, but like the flares on this Bronco far better. Since I am a butt man, rather than a boob man or a leg man...the rear view.

Ford Beats GM to the E-Crate Game!!!

That arguement works against any type of specialty vehicle construction. Dollar for Dollar, Corolla or Sonic would be your best bet. You want to play, you got to pay. I would argue a 70 Mustang Coupes resale value, dollar for dollar, peaked in 1971. Everyone (almost) that I know in the Mustang community really likes playing with the newer stuff. A 70 Mustang Coupe is probably going to have someone (wrongfully) leaning against it at a car show while they ogle a 2013 Boss 302 or a 2020 Shelby. Or a K code 66 fastback, or 69 Mach 1. But you will get far more positive attention with the 2020 Shelby or the 2013 Boss 302 (at least around here) than you would with the 66 or 69. 70 Coupe converted for electric is a personal vanity purchase for personal pleasure. Were you to have spent money flying on the concorde, it would have been for the experience. We don't judge people for spending big bucks on a flight that is over in 3 hours, why judge someone for spending 50 grand they will never see again on an EV conversion? Hour for hour of enjoyment, the EV conversion is much cheaper than the flight. -

Everything is absurdly priced as of late. Not a political post, jsut a lament.
