  1. If kids were honest....
  2. How I feel about a few of the folks that troll here...
  3. More than just label mad. Hiking, woodworking and Music are my refuge. Will be borrowing the skills you are using on the B-59 to build a post apocalypse vehicle for personal use....should resemble something out of the mad max movie. This looks like too much fun... Looks like it might be cactus grey, hard to tell with it being a bit overcast. Today's non political political post... Truth for Monday... Maybe I would rather drive... We need rain here in Columbus, grass is starting to turn brown just a bit...
  4. On a V8 Platform with the Mustang V8 and suicide doors it would blow away any of the AMG stuff that's brought up here....in looks and performance both. There are a bunch of us that want domestics. I have owned several foreign cars, but came back domestic with my last purchase because Ford built something I wanted. I am a happy guy. When you have money and family ties, all things are posible. It is insane what first generation Tundras are bringing right now. As well as Four Runners and FJ cruisers. The overlanding thing has everyone wanting them. For a few grand more...a much newer and lower mileage domestic would be much more my speed.
  5. This is actually one of the best posts you have made here...very concise, rational and to the point. You do have a lot of wisdom at times.
  6. Thankfully... My son has a clapped out 2004 Implala that he owns outright and runs great. He would like to replace it with another sedan, he is 23 years old. Sedan buyers do exist, and enthusaistic ones at that. Same thing here in Columbus Ohio.
  7. Not trying to be something they are not is especially true I think of the whole Ford brand now that they are focused on SUV/Truck. Would not kick a Mustang out of my garage though. Come to Columbus, we have a stand alone Lincoln Dealer. He could move out to Washington State with David Felt, and my Son Daniel. They have tons of Cherries to pick, much more productive than irration arguements here on C and G. Agree completely.
  8. Their dealership experience is remarkable. Two close relatives own Lincolns, they are very, very well taken care of. If Lincolns are anything like my Ranger, count me in.
  9. Feeling in a snarky mood this morning...
  10. These kids obviously angry at their mother... Maybe this is why I have a cat and not a dog...
  11. Waiting to see my First one in the wild... Happy Birthday Robert Hall! Yeah, sounds crappy. Good advice... for anyone actually...
  12. Interestingly enough, just visited the west coast. Tons of older Chevy's Fords, etc. from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's on the road. Wasn't till my last day IN Tacoma that I saw an older gen Tacoma.
  13. Love this piece of furniture, did not build myself. Also, Bonus pic of a 67 Thunderbird.
  14. Here is my rub with Ford, when they are good, theya re very good. some of their marginal productofferings are...marginal. They need to do what they are good at and forget about the rest. A high school baketball star isn't necessarily more rounded by joining the chess club, nor is a chess prodigy better off hitting the hoops. Fusion had enormous potential had sedans been more profitable and had Ford been willing to invest in it and update the design, two huge what ifs. In Washington state, not my pic. From All Trails. Hiking up to Camp Muir. My new fitness goal is to be in shape to do the whole trip next time I am in Washington state.
  15. By Emiliano Archival, fantastic turning... Crossing a bridge on a rural Washington hike, we are back in Columbus now. Not mine, restored Delta bandsaw. Huge fan of the art deco look with Delta. For sale FB marketplace, this just has the look
  16. Although I like several vehicles on the list, including the CT5 and GTI, no surprises here. My wife on our hike in Washington, approaching carbon glacier on Mount Rainer. My grey cat Smokey, chillin... My wife, we were hiking near Moonville tunnel again... My friend Dustin and I working on an Oliver 217 30 inch bandsaw
  17. Not sure if Balthazar posted this previously or not, cool picture.
  18. For Oldshurst 60 and not a 59 but Balthazar still might be happy... In a convertible frame of mind...
