  1. The woodworker in me and the Carpenter in Balthy can appreciate this. Thankfully I ahve a couple of really good local places to buy lumber. Hurst Olds, for Olds hurst!
  2. Interesting Wall... Available locally, this Era of Truck never looks bad... Pontiac love, in this case 65 GTO. Neat vintage picture...
  3. I worry about all of the stuff going on in Florida, not just from a political standpoint. My 10 year old niece goes to school in Florida, she is in quarantine for 14 days because the girl next to her in class came down with a serious, serious case of covid. Hard times we live in, a lot of it self inflicted. But I really feel for my niece, not meant to be a political post. Just feel a lot of compassion for people in Florida right now. Just like Jimmy Carter tried to be Christ like and had his Borther Billy.... Neat Corvette model, some guys don't like Yellow cars, I do...
  4. As a guy married to a gal from Western New York (Buffalo Suburb of West Senneca) I would agree on the Canada thing. Saw a gorgeous 70-72 Yellow olds cutty ragtop out on the road, thought of you... As an electrician, I fully appreciate this....given Davids love for Asian and Asian esque women, I think he will appreciate them also. Although the lady in green looks like she is maybe from Georgia and the lady in red looks like she is from Out west, maybe Colorado or something.
  5. Given how reliable the old 3800 V6 is, this would make sense.
  6. Now then....
  7. SSR... Emiliano Achaval turned this. I love his work.
  8. "Things falling apart is a kind of testing and also a kind of healing. We think that the point is to pass the test or to overcome the problem, but the truth is that things don’t really get solved. They come together and they fall apart. Then they come together again and fall apart again. It’s just like that. The healing comes from letting there be room for all of this to happen: room for grief, for relief, for misery, for joy." ~Pema Chödrön Mike Allen, who I know from Facebook, built this. It is amazing! I love the model work and the picture.
  9. I really liked the vibe of seattle when I was out there.... https://www.nytimes.com/2021/08/17/world/asia/maki-kaji-dead.html
  10. So much sad in the world....something happy for the moment.
  11. Random truth for Monday. Not just in Politics...
  12. One of my favorie jets, I love four engine birds... I plan to do a good bit this fall.
  13. Sorry i couldn't resist... Last one for today...
  14. Ghost buster....er...goats butter... The woodworker in me loves this one...
  15. Council of Karens, apparently...
  16. Keeping it Random....
  17. I love me some flathead V8. My friend kelly got his Cutlass done, here it is at a small town car show here in Ohio. Proof that old cars do make it out of "under a tarp in the driveway" purgatory. Bunch of Ohio had issues also.
  18. Last one for a bit..
  19. My friend Mike is not happy with the backup Camera in his Buick at the moment....He is a good buy and an old friend from College. Couch is frightened...
  20. ...or keep building interesting products. From Audio products to tools to restaurants to clothes....I don't buy the most mass market product in much of anything. Same thing with vehicles. RAV 4 Hybrid is a practical piece but ugaly as F. I like the new Supra but not so into sports cars any more. Tacoma is dated, would rather have a Colorado or Ranger. Or a Gladiator, for that matter. Camry....nahhhhh.....25 or 30 grand would buy something more interesting. It would be a cool world if you could have an alternate history and have say the 1950's with all of the cool of the concept cars actually making it into production cars....and a variety of power. ICE Steam, electric, Nuclear fusion, etc...a real Buck Rogers type automotive world.... I could see owning a Tesla model 3....I really could. I love the vintage vibe of this meme... Speaking of the 60's...I always daydream about cruising in a 409 Powered Bubble top Impala when I hear this song.
  21. Lots of reasons to avoid them right now. Thier opposition to EV's being one of them. Damn, I could cruise in this for hours...
