  1. I went with these. I'm impressed by the quiet ride (of course I am colored by the fact the Goodyear Adventures were noisy as heck toward the end). Turned them black side out. Driving range is as good or a tick better than the old ones/recommend
  2. So now, closing in on 44k miles, I have to start thinking about tires. It has been a long time since I replaced tires out of need, and not want. The Wrangler Adventures have been fine as factory original tires go, but I always thought I'd like to have a more aggressive tire... of course, on the other side of the coin, I don't want to give up fuel mileage with gasoline prices where they are, and I like a quieter tire as well. So I'm reading tire reviews.
  3. Will soon turn over 41k miles on this truck, and I realized I cannot remember the last time I put that many miles on a vehicle before I got rid of it. Running fine. Had one more transmission episode involving electronics (CEL, would not shift out of 2nd gear) driving to work one morning, second similar episode, different DTC, but a co-worker was able to clear it for me and it's been fine since.
  4. I see Nissan is adding a 1.5t 3 cylinder as an option in the Rogue. I think it would be a great engine in the Rogue Sport, with 37 MPG in the 2WD Rogue in highway testing, it would probably get one MPG greater in the smaller Sport. With modern turbo engines making good, wide power bands, it would also make the CVT easier to live with.
  5. Balthazar is the only person in here that GETS WHAT I'M SAYING. And he is SPOT ON.
  6. There's no difference in wheelbase/body length between the Grand and non-. The difference is in the features/engine. The Wagoneer gets the 5.7L Hemi, the Grand gets the 6.4L Hemi. The top of the line Grand Wagoneer easily competes with the Escalade.
  7. This is the defense tactic you're sticking with? ooooooooooooooooook
  8. Someplace in Canada, begins with a "Q", I forget.
  9. Since you need your hand held, all of the vehicles you posted were built from the ground up by General Motors. David's post was about a random company trying to sell their rolling chassis to anyone who wants to plop a car body onto it and sell it as their own. That is exactly the definition of "RC cars for adults". Can you NOT see the distinction?
  10. That new Ford Maverick is shaping up to be pretty darn spiffy. So many comments online asking for a regular cab from ppl who owned old-skool compact trucks. Even a Supercab would suffice for me with a 6' bed. I'm going out on a limb and predict the SuperCrew in the recent spyshots has a longer bed than a Rivian and maybe even a Hummer. The days when a pickup truck was judged by its work capacity were good days.
  11. Exactly what I've been saying ^. This is the homogenization of the automobile, EXACTLY like RC cars for adults with no distinction between them, no reason to incite allegiance... just a complete break down of any type of brand loyalty.
  12. Here I am, "denning the future". SO.MUCH.COMEDY.GOLD. Easy to see in the photo supplied. His head has got to be digging into the headliner, he cannot even see out of the car unless he DUCKS down to look out the window!
  13. You keep happily posting this superfunny photo as if anyone who views it cannot see your compressed joints writhing in pain after 20 seconds, let alone a quick ride to Starbucks with a load of co-workers @ lunch. KEEP SMILIN'... THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Totally unconvincing performance. When something is indefensible.
  14. Uh... here's a 2021 Colorado crewcab longbed with a chart of bed floor lengths ~
  15. Dude EVERYTHING looks good with Cragars...
