  1. Let's just say I don't like letting stupid go unchallenged.
  2. The regulations should never have existed in the first place - just a typical case no-gain stupidity courtesy of government.
  3. Tick-Tock! This ends at midnight.
  4. In a five gallon size with a vent, that would be cool.
  5. Paying $60 for a gas can just doesn't figure in here. I sure do wish my old cans hadn't been in the barn when it burned.
  6. The Blitz cans leak really badly.
  7. Not here they don't, and that doesn't solve the other problems with these cans. I'll figure something out, and I don't give a rat's ass if it is legal or not.
  8. Well, if you have to haul quantities of fuel on a regular basis, this is a big problem. I have lots of equiptment here that requires me to do so, not to mention the ROPOS and my project cars. Is it too much to ask to be able to buy a gas can that doesn't suck?
  9. ...and it fails as a gas can.
  10. Note the spout on the CARB approved one I posted - too short to be useful. And, you have to hold a button in the whole time you want to pour gas. And, they aren't vented so they expand and contract . Expensive junk.
  11. Just found an interesting thread (if a bit out of date since PA no longer lets the stores sell any good cans). Check out the safety problems with the new cans. http://www.opeonthenet.com/archives/1206/t_03315.html Yeah, typical government stupidity.
  12. Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/10x-Gas-Can-Spout-Replacement-WEDCO-BRIGGS-STRATTON-10-/180584216868 The price is insane. Yet another case of a perfectly good product ruined by regulation. A simple gas can with a simple spout and a vent is now illegal to sell. I guess I'll have to hit some garage sales.
  13. I haven't, took one look and said no. This is the POS you get for $33: Useless, but government approved.
  14. Too late to change the rules now. I'll get the job done, but it won't be an easy choice. I'll be spending some time thinking it over.
  15. Thanks to the government, you can no longer buy a decent 5 gal. gas can. You can buy a nearly useless, C.A.R.B. - approved, plastic can for $33. This kind of crap really ticks me off.
  16. Glad to see a branching-out into other sizes. ...and my job gets even tougher.
  17. I'm not a Cadillac guy, but I sure would enjoy wringing-out a V-spec coupe.
  18. I believe there are still more in the works...
  19. Another view would be great! The crisp detailing is impressive.
  20. Thanks for the details! Interesting take on the "B" pillar.
  21. Thanks for the feedback. In your redering the top appears to have a very interesting texture, that spurred my question.
  22. I thought that I remembered the Snitz board showing member numbers - seems I was wrong about that?
  23. My judging job just got alot more difficult! I'm loving the variety.
