  1. Good deal,NOS! Glad to hear about this.
  2. Fit and finish were amazing on the truck I looked at and the dash was a thing of beauty. LTZ Crew cab stickered at 40k - ouch!
  3. Honda doesn't make a truck. :AH-HA_wink:
  4. Crap! I never thought to do any screen captures. Anyone got Chevelle Project stuff saved? You know Skunkworks... er Underground.
  5. I'm about to go check one out. Got a call from my friend at the local Chevy dealer and they have one onsite.
  6. Thanks for the link,Loki. I am even more in love with this car now(and the way it was put together). I think I need to build something for myself following this style of modification. 454 is a magic number for me.
  7. Mechanically - Wow! Visually - not so great, it looks unfinished and maybe a bit tacky, poor wheel choice and cheap, near-rice body panels. Great stance though - gives me ideas for a better version.
  8. Visually, it looks like change for change's sake. I see no improvement on the original anywhere on this concept.
  9. Strongly disagree. Without major revisions to the nose this thing is Aztek- ugly . The basic concept is good, but I wouldn't even ride in something with a face like that. I also agree with Ocn that the integrated rear bumper (a la S10) looks like crap just like it did on the S10. This truck is crying out for a chop to give it an uglyectomy. No for production as it sits.
  10. "What a long, strange trip it's been"
  11. Not the best Buick styling ever, but still more pleasing to the eye than a Lucerne.
  12. :rotflmao:
  13. It's good to be Jay Leno.
  14. I should have thought of Saab, I remember a bunch of 2-stroke Saabs screaming around the track at a vintage race, it sounded like a chainsaw race.
  15. Exactly. Sox & Martin '70 Cuda:
  16. I can see the High-Tech, extd.cab,AWD formula working for GMC, but for an SS it's all wrong.
  17. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that it is a rear-engined car from Germany and has an early version of a CVT or CVTs that each send power to one rear wheel. Could be used to provide power to each rear wheel individually in order to "throw" the car into a turn. Just some first impressions.
  18. -Too low -bad choice in wheels -center exhaust not right for this car at all
  19. Beat me to it,Decka. I too, don't care for the side exhaust. I would also be happier with a scoop more like the original "stinger" Corvette 427 version. Not so sure about the air intakes in the bumper cover either. But, these are small details and I love the idea generally. Oh, and I am SO glad that they dumped the stupid extd. cab for this concept. They have the right recipe for the Silverado SS now, though I don't think the LS7 would be possible for production owing to cost.
  20. Cool concept, and I love black chrome finishes.
  21. This car is just so right! Is there any GM-issued text for it? More info on the engine?
  22. The front end is Aztek ugly. The rest is interesting.
  23. I like this one.
  24. I'm liking it, but then I remember NHRA Mopars from the ' 70s. :AH-HA_wink:
