  1. Maybe the gas man home-delivered gasoline in glass bottles, like the milkman did.
  2. Yeah, it varies from year to year when they add and remove subtrims between the major trims like Altitude, Upland, Sterling, etc. With the limited edition trims it's 17 for 2021, not including the L and it's trim levels. I think the model with the most trims on sale is probably the Porsche 911…most years it’s between 20-24 trims. 3 body styles across some of the trim levels.
  3. I knew her name and face but never watched the show either. ...there have been very few sitcoms I liked, I've long preferred crime dramas. I didn't know Mossimo was a person, I remember the clothing brand at Target 20-25 years ago, I think I bought some Mossimo shirts and shorts when I was in my 20s. All I know of USC is a friend and former coworker of mine went there, and that they have a pretty well-regarded Computer Science department.
  4. That's one of the things I like about the Grand Cherokee...8-10 trim levels, 2-3 engine options, multiple wheel and tire size options, several colors available (though 80% seem to be black or white). Variety is a good thing...
  5. I'm definitely not a truck guy, and the Ram still is my favorite styling-wise, but I do like the Sierra Denali. Nice that they offer them in a variety of trim packages for those that like black trim or monochrome or those that like chrome (me). Alas, it seems 90% of them I see are boring colors like black or white.
  6. Lori Laughlin...she's only 56...TV actor, known for 'Full House'. Her recent fame, though comes from the USC admissions scandal that she and others were caught up in. Spent 2 months in jail. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lori_Loughlin
  7. Keep in mind this is a low volume niche model from a company known for doing rebodied modern vehicles w/ iconic styling cues, like some of their Jaguar style products, for the Japanese market. The C2 Corvette is definitely an iconic design likely well-known in Japan, the Opel GT may not be very well known there.
  8. I like the color...the Sierra's front is more pleasant than the Silverado, less overwrought, IMO.
  9. I would like to try ordering a vehicle someday, never done it, always bought from dealer stock.
  10. Seems like they would be a lot of fun on twisty, hilly SE Ohio backroads. I still love that Miata ad from a few years ago about the guy that had a Miata when he was young and gets a new one at middle age after having his soul crushed by work and family life..
  11. Was in the 50s yesterday, 80 today! Used the furnace last night, AC now......Spring.
  12. I don't think anyone said anything about 4 dr SUVs in general not being family haulers. But high end luxury stuff like the Urus, Bentagya, Cullinan, etc aren't being pushed as family haulers...that's not their purpose. Plenty of people without families buy 4dr vehicles for personal use....
  13. Oddly, this A6 looks more like the A7 than the real A6.
  14. Are you just being obtuse or is there a purpose to such nonsensical posts?
  15. ^hmm. The Lyriq grille does kind of remind me of the pattern on some shaver heads.
  16. My family was pretty unusual, I grew up sort of like an only child because my sister is 13 years older and my brother 21 years older and were mostly out of the house after I was 5.
  17. If they have one kid, maybe.. it seems people that have multiple kids often go for 3 row minivans or SUVs so they can separate the kids.
  18. Interesting.... by ship. Coming from Mexico, then? Wouldn't need a ship from Fort Wayne or Flint.
  19. They have 4drs for the same reasons luxury sedans have 4 doors.. to carry 4 people. Not necessarily as a family hauler.
  20. I doubt if the typical Cullinan or Urus buyer has school age offspring. Wealthy folk that have kids and want a 3 row would gravitate towards a GLS, X7, Escalade, LX, etc..
  21. I can remember the mid 70s Collonades from childhood in the 70s, but by the time I started driving in the mid 80s most of them had rusted away or were worn out beaters. Didn't see many in nice shape in Ohio or S. Florida then.
  22. Those are luxury SUVs, not intended as family haulers like 3 row SUVs tend to be. Different niche.
  23. Interesting..as in arriving in the US on a container ship?
