  1. Yeah...more hybrids would have been a good move, I think. People that I know that have owned Volts loved them, but had to go elsewhere when they needed more space but still wanted a hybrid.
  2. Just another lease appliance CUV...take off the GMC badging, it could be anything...probably starts at $60k, since the '25 Denali version starts at $54k. I can't believe that much money and it's a frickin' 4 cyl. A supposedly 'premium' vehicle with an econobox powertrain....(I'll admit I loathe 4 cylinders...)
  3. They are fun...I like the various predicaments they get into on narrow trails...I love the Morrvair wagon.
  4. I like the brown seats. The exterior is too bland in white..that is a lot of power and torque for a 4cyl..wonder how it sounds, though.
  5. I think it’s only the recent EVs that don’t have AA/CP. The normal vehicles still have it, don’t they? My sister’s ‘23 Equinox has AA/CP. From what I found online, various models like the 2025 Equinox, Silverado, Tahoe, Corvette, CT5, Escalade are all available with AA/CP, so it doesn’t seem to have gone away.
  6. I've had that happen with terriers...even 5lb Yorkies. Terriers have a strong prey drive as they were originally bred to be ratters centuries ago..
  7. An Eldorado revival would be nice, with a V-series Blackwing version w/ the CT5-V Blackwing powertrain...
  8. A friend of mine has had two VW Golf Rs... loved them, but traded up to a Tiguan since he got married and got two big dogs...
  9. I have 3 stand-alone Cadillac dealers near me, ranging from 15 min away to about 35 min. Just got a recall notice from GM the mail yesterday for the CT6, related to the transmission.
  10. Heh heh..watching this video now while I eat lunch..I follow the Pole Barn Garage, he always has fun low buck builds of worn out cars..
  11. Hardly.. as far as body styles and types of vehicles, it's very limited, very little variety at least in the US market at sub-$50k price points...mostly CUVs, SUVs, and trucks. Look at GM...only 2 sedans left (Cadillac) and one sports car (Corvette) across all their brands. The rest of GM in NA is boring lease appliances--generic CUVs, SUVs and trucks. Nothing interesting. Very little in the way of 2dr coupes, convertibles, wagons and 4dr sedans left in the NA market. The market today is mostly forgettable, disposable appliances, very little that is interesting... generic vehicles for generic consumers. That coupe is sweet...
  12. I find my self looking for the indicator in the fuel gauge often, 50/50 in my household...Jeep and Equinox fuel door on the driver's side, Mustang and Cadillac on the passenger side. And the releases are all different... button on the lower left dash on the Jeep, push in on the fuel door w/ the Equinox, button in the glove box on the Mustang, remote for the Cadillac.
  13. I have tan sheepskin seat covers to keep the tan leather looking good in my GC. On the Navigator, I really like the blue and white interiors from the generation before the current (maybe 2019 era?).
  14. I like two tones..black upper dash and upper doors and tan seats, console, lower doors, headliner works for me...my Jeep is like that.
  15. Yeah.... nice interiors in cheap cars seems to be a lost art...just all cheap gray plastic now. I remember at one time VW in particular had nice interiors in their cheap cars, maybe 20-25 years ago.
  16. Construction season in full bloom here in Ohio also.. the orange cone and barrel are Ohio's unofficial state flowers, after all..
  17. Well, they were trying to be distinctive instead of the usual cheap car generic cluster. And it was targeting young drivers.
  18. Definitely unusual and asymmetrical. I recall reviewers saying it resembled a sport bike gauge cluster.
  19. Kia...though they already seem to have a bad image at least w/ their cheaper ICE models. Of the list of midsize mainstream sedans, if I had to buy any of them, I'd go with the Accord...built here in Ohio, always had a good reputation and always known to be a pleasant drive.
  20. No much left in what used to be the biggest segment of the car market, I think. It's disappointing how much market share has moved to mediocre CUV appliances. And the Altima has a very bad image...car of choice of people w/ subprime credit..
  21. It's just a Toyota appliance, wouldn't expect Lexus quality interiors..
  22. I had a rental in white like that with a sunroof for 3 weeks in 2017 when I closed on my previous house before moving back to Ohio from AZ..it was quite pleasant.
  23. I like this Eldorado convertible concept image I found a FB Cadillac group.
  24. I do have an all-black interior in my Cadillac..but a black Cadillac w/ black interior does look so good, IMO...and I do have have chrome and copperish trim along w/ the woodgrain...but if I didn't have the pano roof it would be pretty dour in there. Genesis has been doing a great job w/ interior color options, IMO.. blues, reds, browns..
