ANN COULTER
OMGROTFLMAO.....! You know.....as much as I hate Ann Coulter, I actually found the whole situation hilarious........especially her "apology" where she said "it was a joke" and she "wouldn't insult gay people by comparing them to John Edwards...." The chick has balls....that's for sure....

GENEVA: 2008 Suzuki SX4 sedan
.....and I thought the Suzuki Aerio sedan looked wierd..... This is almost as bad as the new Nissan Versa sedan......
-
GENEVA: 2008 Ford Mondeo
It's amazing how something so logical remains so lost in the cloudy murks that are the brains in Detroit (and GM is only NOW beginning to "get it" with the Astra, G8, and to a lesser extent, the AURA.)

Maserati's New GT Coupe
Wow....... I don't know what to say....... I was expecting more of a coupe-like version of the Quattroporte.....but this is fantastic! In my mind, it makes an Aston Martin look kinda boring.....

Chrysler styling
Well....it kindof is.....from the standpoint that the only Hummer that ever existed was the militaristic H1 until GM came along and brought out way more "civilized SUVs that still have great off-road capabilities." The H2 and H3 are direct assaults on Jeep.......

GM's Design Drive Hits the Road
I think that generation Intrepid interior is far cleaner and nicer than any of Pontiac's recent attempts including that Bonneville and today's Grand Prix....

Revealed: Audi A5 and S5
Beautiful little coupe! Funny though....to me it says a bit "BMW 335i Coupe meets (new) Camaro Coupe" in some of it's stance, roofline, and profile. Typical beautiful Audi interior!

Edmunds Evaluation: 2006 Sport Compact Comparison
True.....but I think the point is that the others don't make you compromise with a cheap interior like Cobalt does (i.e. MazdaSpeed3, GTi, etc.)

GM's Design Drive Hits the Road
All this stuff is really good. (I digress to mention that most of the import competition has moved to this kindof stuff already.) But late-or-never, I'm glad to see it coming from GM. NOW....GM....where's the TRULY innovative stuff?

Ohhhh no.....Lynda Carter (that's how she spells it) IS 'da bomb! AND she still looks good today...... (And this is coming from a gay guy.) AND she drove a light-blue 450SL in the show......so she had some class.....LOL

MOTOR TREND X-OVER COMPARO
There's always going to be some grey area.... Is an Impala a "midsize" or a "fullsize" sedan? You'll get two different answers on that depending on who you ask.

Some closure on W bodies
I don't think people will mind the overall fuel economy......but don't look for either engine to be spectacular in that heavy of a car.

1.5 Days In the Blue Army
CD....usually you and I agree on alot of stuff.....but I have to differ with you in a couple of areas........ (Nice write-up btw....in your usual comedic sense......which I love.....) Ford's Naming Strategy: I think it's a good move. Certainly it's no step backwards. To the vast populace, "500" has no name recognition. Rental queen or not as of late, most people out in the marketplace still associate "Taurus" as a best-selling Ford sedan, and also as one of the best-selling midsize cars (even if not so much recently.) The (new) Taurus is guaranteed to be the best driving, most powerful, and roomiest "Taurus" ever.....nothing wrong with that. Highlander: I don't think there's anything wrong with Toyota staying "vanilla" with this one. I don't think they WANT to do something aggressive with this SUV. I see a TON of these bland-mobiles on the roads out here.....so someone must like what they see. I do love the interior though.....and like the addition of the more powerful V6. Astra: Gee.....versus the AURA interior, I think the Astra's is TOP-NOTCH and a significant upgrade over the (platform-mate) Cobalt. I'm not sure if you were able to sit inside the Astra, but when I was looking at them at Frankfurt in '05, the interiors were nicely-executed with premium materials and switchgear.....on par with the (European) Focus and Golfs.

Must be a Seattle thing. I've never seen a Scion dressed-up business-wise like that. In fact, I see quite a few "normal" Scions running all over the place here. (Neither have I seen Scions like this in any of my travels for work......Las Vegas, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, recently.)

MOTOR TREND X-OVER COMPARO
From a personal standpoint, I'm more inclined to agree with YOU....... But basically the industry-standard now is to refer to a unibody "SUV" as a "crossover."

MOTOR TREND X-OVER COMPARO
First of all.....two things..... The buff mags are there for entertainment. Their opinions are their opinions. I for one, read the buff mags to SEE what those guys say about the cars. If you want simply factual data and performance numbers, you can pull any and all of that stuff from mfgr's websites..... Secondly, the SLR is hardly "tiny"......

CHICAGO: 2008 Ford Taurus
Bench seats are an anachronism from the past. Bench seats had nothing to do with the old Taurus' sales.......it's 75% fleet/rental penetration drove Taurus business. I know YOU like them......but they are a dying breed (at least in passenger cars.)
