The O.C. Finally Shoots His CTS....!
Yes but it's been a big paradigm change for GM to start equipping cars with that....instead of the dreaded "multi-function-control-lever" on the left-hand side...

I almost ordered White Diamond.....but cheesed out and got traditional black because I just so much love black cars.....

The O.C. Finally Shoots His CTS....!
A bit....I'm averaging 18-19 in mixed driving.....a little over 300 miles on a tank..... I have yet to take it on an extended trip to see what straight highway driving will do.....

The O.C. Finally Shoots His CTS....!
Actually love the interior styling....with the exception of one major bitch......the wood on the wheel, shifter, and door pulls is REAL.....the wood on the center stack is FAKE (and really looks it next to the real stuff.) This car has some really nice un-GM-like touches......such as the right-hand wiper stalk, articulating headrests, headlight washers, and this....the "VW/Audi-esque" sunroof dial..... Neat and stylistic placement of the Bose tweeter speakers...... The world's absolute BEST interpretation of steering-wheel radio volume controls....! LOVE this.....stroke of genius by Cadillac/GM. So why does the v-Series NOT have the dial volume control? Interesting..... The imports have done this for decades....and now the CTS is just as good as they are in providing precise, clear, and attractive gauges with a minimum of fuss.....

The O.C. Finally Shoots His CTS....!
After 5,000 miles, I do absolutely love this car.....! I even like the looks of the '07 Sport package better than the v-Series....it has larger exhaust pipes, a bigger spoiler, nicer wheels, and a better grille.... A rare bird....only other 6-cylinder/6-speed manual CTS I've seen was in the pages of R&T and C&D.....

Major clear skies over southern California/Aliso Viejo today thanks to the wonderful Santa Ana Winds......! This is my commute every day down the 73 towards Newport Beach......nice views..... This is a view of Saddleback Mountain from Aliso Viejo.....it's about, oh, ten miles away from where I was at....?

Life Liberty & The Pursuit - since 1902
Crack smoking again? I'm sorry for the sarcasm Oldsmoboi.....but SERIOUSLY....do you REALLY think Lexus, BMW, or Mercedes are worried about a "fixed" STS? SRX interior is now gorgeous....but that alone won't turn a sales turd into a sales star.... CTS SHOULD be awesome.....as long as it doesn't end up being "dumbed down" like the current STS was.....

test drove 06 Malibu SS
I agree..... Ford, Chrysler, or the Imports couldn't be less concerned with "High VALUE" powertrains....

2008 Malibu Interior
I actually have always thought the FIRST-gen Malibu interior (shown at top) was better than the current car's..... But I LOVE the '08 interior.....very sharp and distinctive for the class. The only thing I'm a bit cautious of is the GM-part-bin center stack HVAC and radio. I KNOW they are quality pieces (much better than the current Malibu's) but it would be nice if there were some bespoke radio and HVAC controls like most of the imports are doing now....

I heard from O.C.
Do you REALLY wanna wake up THIS sleeping giant.....? Well from what I've seen and heard, the new Malibu will take care of my bitches about your bottom picture..... ....and Compass seems to have replaced your middle picture..... ....and I'll SHOOT the old fart that decided to do that to the CTS in your top picture....

New GM Key Fob
I agree......this is wasted GM effort, time, and money. Give us an integrated keyfob and key like (just about) EVERYONE ELSE is doing..... I get so sick and tired of my key fob bangin' on my knee as I drive as it hangs down from my keyring....

I would agree with you 100%.....it MAY be more a "femin-nazi" thing......listen to Tom Lykis sometime and he'll go off on that very same thing....and what he says makes alot of sense sometimes....

Oh GOODIE.....I get to BEAT on Razor some more.........!!!!!!!! (just kidding Razor....) TB, I think maybe you've had some bad luck with the few Lez's you've been around. I think with any gender/race/nationality you have your assholes, your dickheads, your bitches, and you do have your all around nice people...... Personalities are all over the board in this world. In my last job, I knew a (kinda high-ranking) lesbian that was your "typical" short hair, heavy-set, bull-dikish look.....but she carried it in a most professional manner....and she was one of the nicest and most fun people for me to be around. And I'm sure it's not just like because I was "gay".....she had lots of friends and subordinates that all liked her. That being said....I can certainly understand your frustration with the few individuals you've had run-ins with.....
