I bet that Toyota Cavalier went over like a lead balloon.

I like to sometimes live dangerously. I told a very pregnent woman at work that the most dangerous place in the company is between her and the buffet.

Citibank commercial: Southern redneck trailer queen voice: "Well I went straight for the ritziest shopping channel on T.V. I bought some sturrup pants, some gold hoop earings, and some press on nails with the diamonds built right in..... Well... I know it's wrong... but I feel like the prettiest girl... in the whole... development. <happy cry>" That's what I think of everytime I see a modern Monte.

I must take this moment for a personal rant against hyphen-Americans. I do feel the terms are incorrect and inaccurate. I give you this example: Who is more 'African-American' of the following?
1) A black man born, raised, and living in the USA.
2) An Egyptian man born in Egypt, but raised in the USA.
3) A white man born, raised, and lived most of his life in South Africa but is now residing in the USA.
The problem I have with the term African-American is that if the qualifier for its usage is still 'being black', then why use the term at all? I would also argue it ignores the fact that the culture of an American black man and that of an African black man are quite different.
No offense meant, of course; just my POV.

I work in a company that has no black employees in the offices. We have one girl who is from South Africa. We call her african-american all the time...... but she's cool with the joke. -

it's a good chop as far as graphical quality, but add a vertical bar on the grill and you've made yourself a Dodge Stratus. -
Another C&G member and I were chatting on AIM about this the other night. He suggested that we need a LGBT forum on this site. I said "The whole damn site is a LGBT forum!" I'm just glad is isn't an issue with the straights on here and we can all be open and have fun with it.

I would think that there is a pent up demand from old college professors.

My point was why does it specifically have to be an HT-4100 model if you're going to yank the engine anyway?
Were they still longitudinally mounting engines in the E-bodies at the time?
[post="13740"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Well because there is no such thing as a 1985 Seville with an 8-6-4. that was a 1980 model only. I want the latest model year of bustle back I can get. The diesel and the V6 were generally lower trim Sevilles.
The engines were mounted north/south until the really shortened 1986 model year. -
be consistent in your investing. Invest the same amount every month.

Anybody, do we need more height on the Impala... it needs to touch the ceiling!

No.... it needs more cowbell....

Pretty much my sentiments... the CTS and STS seem to have the same amount of interior room; the primary difference between the two cars is quality. To be competitive in this segment, the CTS needs at least the STS's quality... but wait, why would anyone buy a similarly-sized STS then? Cadillac didn't go far enough with the STS, IMO, leaving a difficult dilema for GM -- how good should they make the CTS, without cannabalizing the STS? In this situation, making the CTS smaller makes the most sense.

My point is that the Volvo's options didn't affect the score, so they're not "stacking the deck". The S60R is still a $38K car; it just so happens that Volvo sent C/D one with $9K worth in options. It still would have scored second to last.
[post="13213"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
And my point still stands that you get a LOT of CTS for 38k. I can't even seem to configure a 6-speed/V6 2006 CTS on CarsDirect and get it ABOVE 38k! -
I'm begining to think this is one of those "useless without out pics" threads....
