So, Corvette needs to go after the Fool market?
Corvette needs to go after anyone who has the cash.
-
taking its sweet time...

A V6 Corvette would only damage the brand - it wouldn't be a Corvette.
Didn't the Corvette start off as a 6-cylinder?
Aren't you the one always talking about more variety?
Aren't you the one always talking about the high price of cars these days?
Wouldn't a new lower cost Turbo-V6 base model Corvette be a way to bring in a younger set of buyers?

Not gonna happen.

Sweet! I hope you upload some pics!

Why not? People buy V6 GTRs and flat-6 Porsches all the time.

The only thing he might miss is the ability to put the spurs into it at highway speeds. The Passat is a big comfy package. If they ever make a larger TDI engine for it, that would really address my only complaint. They could put the Audi 3.0 TDI in, but I suspect Audi wouldn't like that. So make a 2.8 TDI version to use in the Veedubs.

?? I don't find the 1.4T to be noisy at all.

Staggered body style release, just like every other lux make out there and the CTS before it.

4-cylinder Mustang is coming. The Tib and FR-S are both 4 cylinder. 3 series is 4 cylinder.
-
The 2.5 doesn't have the grunt at 1600 rpm that the 1.6 does. Muscle car buyers won't be opting for either 4-cylinder, so it doesn't matter to them which 4-cylinder it has.
-
no updates?
-
Well, park both of them in my garage and I'll let them fight it out amongst themselves.
-
the 1.6T has the grunt where the 2.5 doesn't.

He has all the tool he can handle at home.

... and Cadillac will be right there with a competitor possibly before BMW enters the market.

The silliness of this holiday. Why should I have to guess what Albert wants?
-
again with the pre-judging?

If you're looking for a nice big family sedan that is efficient, Passat TDI all the way. It feels sorta like an older S-class inside.

I foresee a growing problem. To wit:
I have a set of rims up for sale on CL. Guy e-mails me from some sort of 'smart' phone in the morning, says he'll take them if he can pick them up today. A few hours later, he e-mails again and asks 'can I pick them up today or not?' A few hours later and it's 'if I don't hear from you I'll have to move on'.
Problem for this 2012-typical 2-sec attention span guy is, I dont get e-mails on my phone and I didn't get home from work until 7PM and didn't read his many messages until 7:15PM. You'd think his 'smart' phone would tell him that.

These folks are going to have to realize that not everything is as instantaneous as they want things to be.
It is a frequent thing to put the hours you can respond in the ad. Simply put "Can only reply to emails after 7pm" in your ad.
