  1. Renault Fuego This was available in Canada, was it also in the US?
  2. I think you are right about the Jetta.....it probably gave some Euro cache on a budget.
  3. An interesting little thing about these Pontiacs, see those inboard round outlets beside headlights? I'm almost positive, those were actual horn grills!
  4. I like the '59 too, and was it the first appearance of the classic split grill? I wonder what the story was behind the '60 deviating from it and then it was back on the '61 and then forever. It did go a little overboard on the '70:
  5. Aren't they though?!....There was a string of fantastic Pontiac designs, fresh, modern, young, sexy. It's that Pontiac that I'm such a fan of. And, man you have a good eye, about my sig, it is indeed a 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible. Isn't that console so very nice? And the name!...like names like that. And speaking of that, I'm a huge fan of the artists during those years who depicted these vehicles for brochures and ads. Love how they made the cars even more special. Another thing, thanks for you all being around today, usually I'm out and about on the weekends, but woke up with a splitting headache, which I almost never get....so just laying low, with the laptop and you guys....made the headache more bearable.
  6. Of course, we all practice prejudice all the time. Some people don't like ugly people. I like GM and not Toyota. I don't like loud cell phone users in public. I try to have an open mind towards dwarfs, but I just don't know any, so it's hard. I think the word 'hate' is overused and not accurate mostly, alot of people are just mildly annoyed by any given thing. And Blu, thanks for including 'drag kings', they are people too!...so much emphasis is on 'drag queens'. Ahhh, girls wanting to be boys and boys wanting to be girls, it's a crazy, topsy turvy world, and well, it just makes it all the more interesting.
  7. Datsun Bluebird
  8. One of my favorite Pontiacs, the '61
  9. Yep the New Beatle is still as girly as it gets. Did I hear that VW is redoing this car closer to the original Beatle?...maybe it will lose it's feminine side.
  10. Pontiac Pathfinder
  11. Pontiac Strato Chief
  12. It seems to have some Le Mans elements?
  13. Saturn/Saab is not vialble.
  14. Interesting concept, but not pretty.
  15. Pontiac Silver Streak
  16. Honestly I always thought the Solstice would be more a 50/50 gender thing. This isn't scientific or anything, but I'm seeing more men driving Skys. It must be the styling thing....is the Solstice more feminine and the Sky more masculine?
  17. Well, I was browsing through the Lounge right from the first posting, and got all nostalgic.... I agree about the Forester, it will be THE chick car. Just outdoorsy enough but not too rugged. And heck chicks need cars too. And lesbians too!
  18. It was very hot here yesterday and the evening was mild...today, overcast. Chicks, guys, cars, the Beach Boys and the surf is up...three cheers for summer! Three chicks and a guy:
  19. Did you see any drag kings?....the lesbian version.
  20. Pontiac Acadian Canso
  21. I'm worried, is the Solstice a chick car?....I see mainly chicks driving them. I'm wondering too, will the new Subaru Forester be as popular with lesbians as the last one?
  22. 1951 Mack truck.
  23. Rolls Royce
  24. I admire those that can see beyond the obvious. Here's a '65 Pontiac Beaumont:
