Is there such a thing as automobile collectible shows? Any in your area?

I have always wanted to start a collection of automotive stuff, but haven't yet. Who collects all things automotive here? Where do you source it? Who has something very unusual, rare? I've always like vintage photos and collectibles of gas stations....don't know why, but it just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Nice collectible to have! Has to be rare. This was not a well-known model.

Ocnblu, here's Lancaster on your behalf...I hope that's ok. It looks like a great city and area to live. Great history. I understand it has the oldest market in the US? And I like the city square...always liked that about older American cities. Especially smaller ones. Lancaster, at about 55,000 people is just right in size for me. Where I live, it's now one million people...too big. And great photos of all the places where everyone lives.....I think it's time for a road trip. You all got me wanting to travel and experience your areas.

Probably not the best name to use...it's a bit lofty, given the car it was attached to. It was a strange strategy for Chevy to have this as a separate model. No one was really fooled. Probably an early indication of GM going in the wrong direction. It was just a Nova with nicer velour.

I don't think it's just about the variety of models. It's about the design and image direction of the Buick division. They aren't where they should be. The Enclave is a start, but they have a long, long way to go. Buick has a non-image, not a bad one, there just isn't one. And I'm a huge fan of Buick. The Buick that once was and has to reclaim.
