  1. I love this car....very popular here. It looks very good on the street, a notch up from the Chevy Cobalt.
  2. Now this is a cool Buick...the 1964 Buick Electra 225 Convertible with 620 hp at SEMA 2006. Doesn't Electra sound so much better than Lucerne?
  3. The Lucerne hands down. It's the right size for real people.
  4. Not sure about this one. It looks forced, slightly 'tacked on'. Like it was done in a suburban garage. Maybe that was the look intended. And it works.
  5. Don't care for the color and wheels. Amazing how good the blue one looks and this one so blah.
  6. I like this a lot......so nice to see slimmed down headlights making a comeback.
  7. Absolutely hot! I felt something move.
  8. I like it too...and like two-tone paint and customs as well. Hoping to find a pic with the doors closed, I'll post when I do.
  9. now, that's outrageous....and thanks for the Sema Insider site...now added to my favorites.
  10. yessss, bring back custom vans!!.......it's so good to see cars are fun again. Whether they are over-the-top or downright ugly....I want them all to exist. Up with Car Culture!
  11. And the thing is, Saturn has an image that will not change overnight. It could take a generation of cars to do that. And I wish them well. I worry that any sales of any of these new vehicles will be to the Saturn loyalists only. I don't see many conquest sales. I believe that this division would have a headstart by either renaming it Saturn Opel, or just going for it and Opel only. Saturn just does not equal edgy, modern nor cool. To me when I hear Saturn, I think effeminate, murky and dull. And the tagline, 'like always, like never before'.....what?, like always dull?....they have to lose that connection to the past. They have an uphill battle ahead.
  12. Can you post that photo or mention the site?...would enjoy seeing this. Always thought this vehicle would look good modified.
  13. Therein lies the problem with this car. I luv it in everyway, but would be embarassed to say I owned a Saturn. I'd have to go with the Pontiac Solstice instead.
  14. I think the name comes from George Pullman of railway sleeper car fame. It suggests 'Pullman' car comfort.
  15. The Mercedes Pullman definitely has presence.
  16. The Holden HSV VXR now arriving in Australia. I wish it were arriving here in N. America. One of the nicest hot hatches anywhere.
  17. maybe...but why would they mimic one of the worst looking luxury cars this side of China?
  18. The Chrysler 300C Pullman to be shown at Sema. I wish Buick and Cadillac were doing stuff like this.
  19. You are right, Dodge has had those a long time and I identify Dodge with it. It is something very much their own. Thanks for the photo proof.
  20. Blu, Pumpkin pie with mounds of whipped cream has to be my all-time favorite desserts...and with coffee as a chaser, I'm in heaven. I have a good pumpkin loaf recipe when one needs a pumpkin fix fast...I'll look up and post. It's incredible and very nice with whipped cream too.
  21. then there's the Chevy:
  22. I see this for what it is...it's a show car....over the top. But it's fun. I'll bet in the flesh at the show it will draw crowds..... It's much like models on the runway in outlandish clothes. And heck we are conditioned by bland in cars, so of course it's jarring. It's not beautiful, but so what...it's still a hoot.
  23. Here's the Outrageous C6 Corvette to be shown at SEMA:
  24. http://www.fornasaricars.com/
  25. Highly suggestive gun, there, Burt.
