  1. When are the effin results going to be released? This thing has been going on since May.
  2. Okay, so we were able to pull one positive comment out of him. Seriously. Its a sweet car with nice lines & a progressive overall shape. The fact that the interior has a nicley retro touch is pretty cool too. Couple that with a car that rides, drives, handles and hauls A$$ makes it pretty darn good car (Id say). Enjoy it for what it is. You dont have to buy one. And if you do, Ill throw in a SawZall.
  3. Un-real. If the car didn’t have a "B" pillar you'd buy one with your lottery winnings. But since it does, you'll trash GM for making the best looking car it is ready to produce in recent memory....with an ungainly "B" pillar. That feature alone does not make it look watered down, nor resemble anything Toyota'ish. If you would like to see watered down check out the interior photos of the concept Challenger VS the production car. Oh! Just an observation, the Mustang and Dodge Challenger both have B pillars. Dodge hid theirs on the exterior pretty well, however it looks cheap once inside the car. This just goes to show that (no matter how great it looks outside, inside, coupled with the fact that this car will handle very well…..PLUS ride and drive comfortably…..AND burn rubber all the way from daycare to work…..) you can’t please everyone. Ill take mine in bumblebee yellow.
  4. This would be easy, only if I didnt have to worry about CAFE standards, Union law suits, Global Warming, Healthcare and Retirement benefits, yada...yada...yada.
  5. I think its a beautiful car. Glad Buick if FINALLY pushing the styling envelope vs. being so vanilla.
  6. Terrible. GM Cannot afford any more badge engineering. Also with the current strategy to lump GMC, Pontiac Buick into one dealership umbrella, Cadillac, Saab & Hummer into one outlet, Saturn & Chevy as stand alone they do not want re-badged cars sitting in the same show room.
  7. Yep. At least for this generation of cars, the G-8 is a preview of the new family "face" of Pontiac (so to speak). I predict the next generation will undergo a design renaissance. GM has a lot going on. Chevy & Buick are undergoing a make over. Cadillac & Saturn are starting the second generation of their new found design direction and now the focus is (thankfully) shifting to SAAB. I fear, though, that the new Cafe standards hold the fate of this brand......
  8. Nice drawing! I cant figure out how to get mine to upload. How about this design for the next G-5 (Based off the Alpha Platform). Check out http://www.geocities.com/chrisschoemann/PontiacG52010.htm for a picture and write up.
