  1. There is another classic there as well behind the fire truck and black beetle lol. Was there are nice cond. 80s cars that you thought were interesting and did you see the 67 Grand Prix black conv. It is on the website and it looks beautiful. By the way, do you know if there were any 85 to 93 two door Blazers sitting around. I want to find a cheap one and make it a project vehicle when I get money.
  2. I am in love with the 81 Malibu ex-State police car on the website. It looks to be in excellent condition.
  3. I know there are 11 FJs roaming my area. The Toyota dealer has already sold out their stock. They had 11 but they are getting more. The black looks really nice on it. My Mazda dealer also has an 07 silver CX7 and my Chrysler dealer has a Torred Daytona, Heritage edition 300C, and a 2006 Charger SRT8 (Black Beauty). It has been there for a little bit and I love it. The Chevy dealer also has a new Avalanche and a used Solstice. It is silver or grey.
  4. Im done on the 22nd of June. Canadian schools get out later but we go back later I think. I go back on the 4th of September I think. What month do schools in the US go back. I know my cousins go back at the beginning of August in Indiana.
  5. CSpec is right, it was the Sixteen. It was drawn on a napkin and Chrysler left the idea. So he gave the drawing away and later at GM. He used a similar design for the Sixteen. It is all in the book, The End Of Detroit. I read it, it was good. It said that in the book i am not sure what chapter but it did.
  6. It was not a Chrysler but it was intended to be.
  7. Thats not it. It is a concept.
  8. I agree with the_yellow_dart on the girl from Metric. I also think Molly Sims is pretty good too.
  9. You read my mind. I am anxious to see how I did.
  10. No. Clue: The vehicle was a GM. Forget about why it didnt become a Chrysler. It was rejected and he gave away the drawing to a journalist but he did use a very similar design in producing a GM vehicle when he came over to GM. Concept or Production, I will not tell?
  11. He was working for the Chrysler group. The vehicle had no brand at first even though he designed it for them. It wasn't Chrysler. You need a different car and why it didnt become a Chrysler.
  12. This is a pretty tough one. What car was similar to what Bob Lutz sketched on a napkin at an expensive restaurant/ Clue:It was his dream car. What company did he work for at this time and why did he give it away to a reporter?
  13. I haven't seen any on the road. I have seen 1 Tahoe though. I am also finally starting to see 2006 Monte Carlos. I saw my first one in March 2006 on the road. I have seen 3 others but 3/4 of the ones I saw were rental cars. Chevrolet needs to step it up with these. My dealer near my house has been avoiding getting any. They got one last year and it is still sittting there now. It never sold and nobody ordered any and they have had comments on how the people don't like them. They haven't heard any good comments from consumers about it.
  14. Here is my entry. It has cues from the '62, and the '67 but I modernized it a lot. Sorry about the sizes as well. Photobucket is screwing up.
  15. Does being a police officer for a day count?
  16. I found out today that the car was taken away. It won't be crushed but it is impounded for now. The guy who was restoring it bought it from another junkyard/garage, and the people there originally stole it. Stripped some parts, took the motor, but they forgot to get rid of any signs of a VIN number. The history report showed it had no accidents but it reported missing from an original owner in Manitoba 3 years before. They gave up looking for the car but now they found it. They have impounded it and are going to find the owners' of the garage the old guy bought it from. The car will be returned to its rightful owner who was also in the process of restoring it. He had to fix the rust and the vinyl top and A/C. Sorry guys. No project car. Would've been nice.
  17. I saw the most stupid people today in town. A 2005 F150 was trying to pull an 18-wheeler out of a ditch. I don't know what he was thinking but now he has to buy a new bumper. It was ripped off by the chain attached to the 18-wheeler. The second was a guy on a bike pulling a motorcycle, with a guy on it, on a sidewalk. He was using police caution tape to attach the motorcycle. It was a pretty big motorcycle too.
  18. Anybody in the University of Michigan area look for an Aston Martin DB9. My dad's friend's son's roomate at U of M drivesone. His dad bought it for him.
  19. Camino LS6- This car might be put up for sale. It is in Canada, though. It has to be inspected first. The owner of the junkyard felt there was something really wrong with the frame. The guy before got it from a junkyard and it was never inspected. He says if the car goes up for sale, it will be about $8000 obo in Canadian dollars. The car was getting inspected today and I am going to see what happens. Sadly if the frame is damaged the car may be crushed. Parts will be scrapped first if it does. It looked like there was a porblem with the floorpan or support beams or something. I will get back to you on that tomorrow.
  20. I saw the stupidest Camry commercial in Canada. It starts out with two villages hating each other, Want and Need. The people aren't supposed to walk away but a guy leaves Want and a women leaves Need. They meet up in the middle of a forest. Then, the towns blame each other for the people being lost so they come to a road and are ready to kill each other and the new Camry drives through with the guy and the women inside. Then the saying comes on, it was something like, "What you WANT is what you NEED. The new Camry."
  21. I would buy it but I can't drive. I am trying to talk my neighbour into it. He already has a 1970 GTO and he wants a Chevelle.
  22. There is a junkyard near my house with a Forest Green 1970 Chevelle SS 454. It is missing the 454 but the paint inc. the white rally stripes and body are good. It has a little amount of rust and it is also missing the radio (there is a new one to be put in) and the A/C doesn't work. It also needs a transmission. It still has a vinyl top with one rip in it but it is minor. It even has the original rims. No rips in the seats, new exhaust, and many new parts. They weren't installed but they were there. It was in good shape because the guy was in the process of restoring it to original spec but he died and had no family to give it to. The owner of the junkyard said he might finish restoring it, but he may leave it to someone else. He is a blueoval guy so he goes after the Mustangs.
