Buick needs more models
The idea was for the midsized Torrent to move over to GMC, and for a smaller CUV similar to the Vue or Captiva to be added to Buick and/or GMC, but so far only the midsized GMC seems firm. BPG also lacks a C/D-segment sedan in North America (China and Taiwan get different versions of the J200 Excelle), but perhaps Alpha will spawn a small rwd Pontiac in that niche. Ideally there would be a compact rwd Pontiac and a D-segment fwd Buick (replacing the Chinese Regal) similar to the Vectra, but that may only be feasible if the Buick is imported from China.

New Astra: Refined Design
No fuel-economy figures for the new GMI 1.7 L, but the old Fiat 1.9 gets 40.6 mpg combined on the european test. The new GM Daewoo diesel in the Optra gets 41.2 mpg combined (33.1 city, 49.0 hwy). This isn't directly comparable to the EPA test, but it gives you some idea. Other Astra figures: 1.4 TwinPort (Family 0) - 38.6 mpg combined 1.6 VVT (Family I) - 36.2 mpg 1.6 Turbo - 30.5 mpg 1.8 VVT - 32.2 mpg 2.0 turbo - 25.6 mpg 1.3 diesel - 49 mpg

Most midsize rwd sedans?
Hmm, apparently I was wrong, the lwb 5-series is slightly smaller than the 300 and should be classed as midsize by length. That gives BMW two, (short and lwb 5-series), but there are other manufacturers with far more. Even Nissan has three.

Technically KIng arthur and his knights would have sung in Latin or Old Welsh (There are albums like that though).

Most midsize rwd sedans?
Don't worry, there is only one that I know of in China (the SLS and 535iL are too large), and none unique to South America anymore. You need only check the standard European, American and Japanese manufacturers. There is a Russian manufacturer, GAZ, producing two versions of the rwd Volga, but they may have already ceased production while they prepare to install the tooling from the Sebring and Stratus.

Most midsize rwd sedans?
I don't mean by sales, I mean number of models (less clones).

Most midsize rwd sedans?
To clarify, these vehicles are longer than the IS350 and shorter than the 300. The question is unrestricted by market, as should be clear from the mention of the Chevrolet Omega and Lumina—Holden Commodore clones).

Really only the Corsa stands a chance.

Most midsize rwd sedans?
Luxury brands account for very few, since most have only one each. Below 4.6 m there are only 8 rwd sedans in current production, and even then only 3 are sold by luxury brands (3-series, C-Class and IS-Series). Counting lwb versions there are at least 30 models above 4.99 m, and there will soon be more.

Most midsize rwd sedans?
Who produces the most midsize rwd sedans? You may be surprised. Rank by parent company, and ignore rebadging (e.g. Chevrolet Omega, Chevrolet Lumina). For midsize count any current-production rwd 4-door sedan between 4.69 and under 4.99 m. There are roughly twenty, if you can find them all. Bonus points if you can list all the different names a single model is sold under.
