  1. Back to the main topic... these vans reek of 1998. I saw one up close at Allen Mello Motors and it did NOT Impress!
  2. Except Furbys.... those things are the devil's playthings!
  3. Cire said it all.... damaging to Cadillac's image for sure!!!
  4. I just projectile vomited on my keyboard. This thing makes the Catera look like an M3. Rest In Peace Cimarron, you are no longer the biggest disgrace to Cadillac in its 100+ year history. That front gross overhang, semi-half-assed-Euro styling and unoriginal, dated details make this THE worst Cadillac EVER, even more so than the 8-6-4 Seville! EDIT: Did I mention that a cars' front overhang should never be 37% of the car's overall length, esp. with a wagon bodystyle.
  5. Oh... and what's a Pot Lot?
  6. Dsuupr: Funny you say that. My second interview at UPS was this morning at 4:00am. I live about 8 miles away from the largest UPS fascility east of the Mississippi and the central hub for N.E. At about 9:00 (already at the dealership) I got a phone call from HR saying I'm hired. I start at 3:45am on Tuesday the 18th. I got recomendations from TWO different people and I was told it will be a lot like boot camp... which is cool, I need to get in shape again. 20 hours a week with full benefits for myself, Julie & the baby. Now we're getting somewhere! Now I still need to find some other part time job to suplement my UPS income but not work me too hard phisically... something that will amount to another 20 or 30 hours a week. That will still be less than the 60-70 I put in here.
  7. Al Gore invented the internet, pants & oxygen. Everyone knows that from SNL.
  8. Where? There's no image. But I'm assuming you are talking about the 1932 concept that was V-16 powered!
  9. I see what you're saying FoG. Sept. 11th was devastating to the USA for a multitude of reasons.
  10. Oh I know... but perhaps just as GM was the dominat giant of 1957 and now is having difficulty perhaps Toyota will in a few decades be on death's door. I can only hope that people start opening their eyes. I think Toyota truly is THE most overrated brand out there... Quality is job # 4,268,925 Sales are job # 1 - 4,268,924
  11. With the addition of the new grille it stands out much more than a taurus or Cam-Cord. I'm not saying it gets an A+ in the styling dept. but it IS unique anough IMHO to not be a cookie cutter. That being said Buick NEEDS a Zeta to be trully world class.
  12. I'm not a huge fan of the current lineup of two FWD Buicks.... but they are ANYTHING but boring!
  13. Still is. Teddy is still alive and in office... even thought he killed an innocent girl in 1968!
  14. That's not fair... the Suburban is a truck. But how about a 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood against a Smart car?
  15. A little of both. But I'd also be happy if Toyota up and died.
  16. Remmeber when Dukakis' wife was under house arrest and they took away all her booze? She was so damn desperate to get some alcohol in her system she drank a bottle of Windex window cleaner!!!
  17. Speaknig of grant money XP... how's that application to Congress going? You know, asking for grant money to provide TIGHT WHIPS with a Twin-6 Packard, several V16 Cadillacs & two Duesenbergs (S & SJ roadsters) so that we can do our ultra-low-emissions & optimal fuel economy study? I hear Al Gore will speed along the paperwrok personally.
  18. Very cool, cleaner than 99% of them. Makes me want another F-body...
  19. Yeah I used to have vanity plates on the '68 Camaro... PANTHR (since Mass suck & only allows six letters) But vanity plates in Mass are 4-times as expensive as regular plates!!! You pay EVERY year instead of every other year and you pay double. Twice as often & twice as much = quadroople.
  20. cire: You seem to foget that for every two $h!ty, ugly products that Daimler-Chrysler produced (Caliber, Nitro) they got one kick ass, amazing product that se the world on fire! Charger Marnum 300C Those three right there saved Chrysler, make no mistake. Thank god for the LX cars proving all those FWD-car-humping morons dead WRONG. RWD is on its way back and it all started with Daimler-Chrysler and for that I'll always love the LX cars.
  21. Ironically I was in Slovakia durring Sept. 11th. My parents and I flew out of Logan on the 9th! It was the first time since 1992 that I went back to visit, it was quite a downer for all that to happen right THEN. We were seriously worried about being able to get back into the USA since the entire world seemed to be afire.
  22. Clearly Toyota needs to shutter some divisions, Scion needs to go, Lexus needs to go and they need to trim down the Toyota lineup to 4 models like it was a few decades ago when they were more prosperous. Celica, Corolla, Corona and Tacoma. What else do you need? Also Toyota needs to be re-re-named TOYOPET. Recipe for success right there... and ALL four models to be RWD.
  23. I agreee... this study interests me but clearly it is inconclusive. I think we need to see a variety of subject matter in sizes ranging from C to DD sizes, video documentation is a must!
  24. Fly: I must have missed that episode of Family Guy. (You should have put in a small pic of Peter Griffin to clue us in) Every Honda ever made feels like POS Budweiser can to me. The Sheetmetal on my old Datsun was super weak too but it was better reinforced than most Hondas form that era, they seem to be all about featherweight cars at Honda, that's a HUGE turnoff to me. Many modern cars are too soft.
