  1. Go test drive an Escalade & tell me if gas money, insurance and purchase price were not stopping you from buying one if you would call it a PIG and make fun of it. The Escalade IS and WILL continue to be the ultimate luxury vehicle bang for the buck. It's very close size wise & poroportion wise to a GRAND touring car from the 1930s... At least it's still BOF and built liek a TANK, more than you can say for the DTS & most other luxury "cars".
  2. - That ridiculous International CXT medium duty crew cab pickup... - 1957 Chevrolet in red (red 2dr sedan) - Very rough 1974? Dodge Dart 2dr hardtop squareback - Green Ford Model-A pickup (late 20s) - 1987-8-9 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in tripple blue !!!MINT!!! - 1941 Ford 4 door sedan, gunmetal gray - Austin Healey Sprite (early 60s?) Some lucky bastard took delivery of a yellow Z06 today:
  3. correct. I do not know about availability of the info on the net... I was referring to my product knowledge.
  4. That's all the info you need.
  5. This turbocharged vehicle has 1 horsepower for every day of the year. It also has 100 lbs. of torque per liter of engine displacement. The turbocharger spins at up to 120,000 RPM. B5 compatible & uses a DPF.
  6. Camino: Well... the tread was labeled cars btu since we're on the topic of the BOF 4x4 variety I agree.... I absolutely love 1980s GM trucks, esp. of the fullsize variety! I also love most medium/heavy duty trucks of the 1980s.
  7. Me too... sad to say Even Cadillac does not know what to decide about the Alphanumerics. Next time you're at a carshow ask about the EXT/DTS/STS.
  8. Not a bad deal, although I'm a snob... For $800 I would have to be either buying a 1970s Grand Am or some other V8 powered RWD car.... pref. a hardtop.
  9. Wouldn't it be awsome (and funny) if after all that the Challenger WAS a HARDTOP!?!? After all, why always camo all over the B-pillar?
  10. The Escalade, BMW M3 & Veyron do NOT belong on this list.... The Prius absolutely deserves the #1 spot and the H1 is desreving of #2. I guess I can see their point witrh the Land Rover & Guard S600.
  11. I've heard quite the opposite!
  12. It's just a unibody, FWD Crown Vic. You'd be surprised how many of the "geriatric crowd" buy SS here at my dealer. The W-body is more overplayed than the Macarena, can;t wait for Zeta.
  13. I've been thinkning a LOT recently about the realities of fuel economy & reliability of 1930s & 1950s classic cars, the big boats I want to daily drive... & I'm giving serious thought to dropping a D.D. 6.6TD into a 1950s car for a daily driver/winter beater.
  14. Huh.... oh, am I supposed to be impressed? I guess the Mercedes powerplat does sound quite exotic.... but carbon fibre is overrated. Here's a better way to spend twice the money my parents paid for a house on a CAR.
  15. There's a used 2005 GTO at the Buick/Pontiac/GMC/BMW/Mazda/VW dealer across the street from my work (Caddy-Chev) and every time I drive by it my curiosity climbs a bit higher.
  16. To more accurately answer your query, Maine. The misplaced southern state.
  17. One man's trash....
  18. Outside this great land of ours I'd like to visit the mother country: Slovakia.
  19. $$$ no object, within continental USA: I would DRIVE to Arizona to the Grand Canyon & then to L.V. NV.
  20. Seriously KF, you need to come to N.E. to see the foliage & colonial history!
  21. Who could forget the 1980-85 Cadillac Seville K-body....? BUSTLE-BACKS rule! I need to buy one ASAP & convert it to RWD.
