Moltar: Maybe the 1st gen. "Celica Supra"? I know it's a Toyota but it's not bad for a Toyota, the 300ZX of course, The Diablo came out in 1991 didn't it? BMW 6-series (esp. M6) and the MB 560SEC hardtop....

I guess the steering mechanism in these things was a hazard if the steel cables for worn/frayed.

Disgusting!!!! My family left communist eastern Europe ni the late 80s to escape the oppresion, economic strife & depressing red tape of the socialist way just to have my dad loose his job to a communist country that is now in some ways more dangerous than the USSR ever was. It is very depressing to see the USA whored out by its own people.

Dude, that sux. I remember fondly when you have me demonstration ride in it back in 2005. The exhaust note, great handeling & GM cam-in-block power were awsome! But I guess all good things must come to an end.

The Lexus Es has always been a joke to me.... I call it the Toyota Camry for people who like to get screwed extra hard on their purchase price... it's a Camry with better leather seats and foglights so it MUST be worth an extra $8K.

Agreed.... Zero parts interchangability = not same family. Saying the LS motors are still the same family as the original 265 - 350 smallblocks is like saying that a 2008 Porsche 911 is in the same generation of Porsche cars as a 1964 Porsche 911 simply becasue on paper they're close. Mild Revolution, not Evolution.

No offense but ythat seems really silly. Suzuki managed a transverse mounted I6 so I do not think there is ANY need to have a four cylinder in any other configuration other than flat-4 or inline-4. Why woudl you want a super-big four cylinder? 2.6 liters is already silly... Colorado & trucks aside. If anything I think a modern 215 that would allow for active fuel management and smooth power would make sense moreso than some awkward, BIG VR-4.

I agree with the peole who are saying that SAAB has managed to complately alienated its core customer while managing to find very few to replace them with anmd therefore it seems as if SAAB was in a position where they are now up trying to go upstream w/out a paddle, I'd scuttle that brand along with the Saturn name, rename Saturns Oldsmobiles & Buick-Opels!
