  1. I emailed this ot a few buddies... I resized and cropped the photos and made a colage... then saved the file as "All-is-Right-with-the-World-Again.jpg" B)
  2. Glad you enjoyed it Harley.... I just thought a good summation from me was in order. I've been drawing "1st-gen-retro" 5th Camaros since 1998 or so, that is why I felt so compelled to post so many in our Camaro Design Contest. Not to pat myself on the back *pat-pat* but I think my designs were closer than certain skeptical members thought. I'm not saying they were dead on but there's some similarity for sure. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Six...er/DSCN4566.jpg the roofline on this one is close http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Six...enerationFB.jpg too bad that I never nailed the front fascia... even with all my many variations http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/Six...Camaro4cars.jpg
  3. - Hemi motor - RWD - Coupe Styling - made in 1979!
  4. If I was loaded I'd have one... why not after all? I'd actaulyl use it for what it was designed to do... carry my Family in comfort while simultaneously 5th-wheel trailering my pro-touring 1969 Camaro and 1959 Electra 225 Riviera.... You can't do all that with a 3500 Silverado without abusing the truck. Then again I if was loaded enough to buy this I'd just restore a classic 1930s COE truck and I'd add a sleeper cab. Allmodern mechanicals but no bling-bling.
  5. OMG... I hope he pulls through. That's tragic.
  6. hummer drop top? based on H3 right?
  7. OhcTA: I like the chome accents and black chin spoiler but I'm not feelinf the black strip across the cowl induction hood... that would make sense for a chevelle but not a camaro... the air gets sucked in at the very base of the windshield on the classic super-scoop hood. http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/3652/1969/69ad11.jpg
  8. Good point Razor... drifting is where this car will shine. A Camaro with an IRs is MADE for drifting.
  9. wow... cool. You CAN see it in the background.
  10. about a month ago Sofia got a hold of a full glass of Arizona Green Tea and proceded to pour it into my keyboard. Laughter did NOT ensue. Even after washing all the components in rubbing alcohol (except for the circuit borad obviously) drying everything off and reaselbly after the fourth time I still had no |A| |S| |tab| & |1| keys. The keyboard is now Sofia's makeshift toy and Staples is $20 richer.
  11. wow.... seems like we can't keep the gay out of any threads these days. As a breeder I can say I think about sex just as much, it just happens to involve the cute chick at the grocery store and Drew Barrymore instead of Mark Wahlberg.
  12. RS headlights... 69 style fenders with the speed lines, the possibilities are just as endless as any rice pos except they make sense and have heretige tied in.
  13. Exactly... pathetic puppy-dog faced pony. Still cooler than any Honda or Toyota but that's not saying much.
  14. Well, when in Rome.... As of late we have been discussing Kids in the Hall after all. :)
  15. LIke I've been saying I was not holding my breath for a concept in 2006 and a production car in 2008 (MY2009) but I was hoping, praying and writting letters to GM. I NEVER doubted that the Camaro would come back but every so often I'd get scared that it would have a GTO style hiatus. That would SUCK!
  16. NOS: eh... I caould care less about those to be honest. They're not very original, not very futuristic and have nothing to do wiht Camaro/F-body DNA so I would not be pissed if they did not make production... but the Hardtop (b-pillar-less) greenhouse just might be the first shot fired in the return to hardtops by detroit. IF the Challenger does not beat GM to it.
  17. I couldn't disagree more... the inset grille and mean fascia is a MUST imo. However I do hope for a facelift that will bring us 1969 Style horizontally inset headlights and the speed lines (creases) in the feders.
  18. Excuse me Sir... but I regret to inform you that you are now obsolete.
  19. Remember the spoof they did of Devil went down to Georgia? I think that's still one of the funniest things EVER!
  20. Here's what I think...
  21. So now that it's sunk in a little bit and the shock has worn off... here's my synopsis: A+
  22. why yes... it was something like that... I wish that show was still on the air! http://www.cheersandgears.com/forums/index...623&#entry69623
  23. 30 Helens agree... the 2006 Camaro concept is a winner!
  24. Back in 1998 I had a dream about a 5th gen ('70-retro) Trans Am... it was white with metallic blue strippes just like the then released '99 30th anniv. TA. I saw the back and front clearly in my dream and it looked HOT, but for the life of me I can not put it down on paper... the drawings never crystalize very clearly.
  25. Hear that? NO seriously listen.... *shh* Awww---yeah! that's the sound of 100,000 check books being opened simultaneously for the purpose of a deposit on a 2009 Camaro! And that otehr soudn you hear? It's just Mustang GT owners weeping.
